What a great find! Nice to see there's a registry for MPIII owners. Got all excited, checked my vin and there it is. And matching the colour is near impossible. It may look acceptable from the pics but when you see it in the flesh from different angles, you can tell the difference in the colours.

Going to upgrade my Stagea soon so this is up for sale. $350 posted anywhere in Oz. Blitz Sonic Power Air Cleaner kit for NM35 with vq25det motor. Does not fit series 2 Stageas with 3.5L motors. It's 100% brand new in box. Never installed.

That blue one has what I would consider, moderate rust. I've seen a lot worse. And the cheap cars in auction sell for a reason.

300 MPII and 187 MPIII produced from the factory cannot be a myth. It was considered a special order option colour. You could not buy it straight from the showroom floor but had to order it and wait for Nissan to paint it.

I think I know about 10 ppl with MP3 cars in Oz. Hell it's getting too popular, better sell mine

Good friend of mine who owns an MP3 did a lot of research and found there was about 180 of them made in 2000. The colour is next to impossible to match and is clearly distinguishable when you see one that's had a repray. The chromium base colour is not even purple to start off with. You need to add a whole heap of coloured tints and then spray it on a black base coat. Love the purple. That's the fav colour of all gtr's but I guess I'm a bit baised.
