Hey just wondering how many ppl you had turn up to your last cruise. I have been telling a few friends about the cruise and have a couple of mates coming one with a Mitsubishi Lancer GSR, and another with a Subaru SVX. I will be rocking up with my skyline of course. I am looking forward to it. Also just wondering how much you get hasstled by the blue guys on these cruises.

What if i don't have a radio. I Might be able to get hold of one, but i might just have to try and keep up with the group and follow everyone else round.

Hey that not a bad idea. I was also thinking of just leaving it off like you see on show car etc where they have those adjustable cam pulleys. Might have prob though with shit having the chance to get into the belt and wearing it out faster.

Hi i want to remove the timing belt cover on my rb25 to check the conditionn of the timing belt my self. if i remove the cam sensor thing on the front of the cover will this bugger up the engines settings. I would mark the position it was in before taking it off. Hass anyone done this before. Any info would be great.

Just wondering if anyone has some brackets for a r33 series1 that they want to sell.

Hey thank all. Yeah I hope to build my car up into a good all round streeter. I will be starting with the performance mods soon but I have to buy a deccent head unit and speakers first. Also does anyone know why nissan cheaped out when putting speakers in the car. It only had 30watt max speakers.

Hi I am sure that this would have been asked b4 but i can't seem to find something on it. I was just wondering if someone can tell me where i might be able to get a copy of a workshop manual on a 1995 skyline r33 gts-t series 1. I am looking for something that covers engine, suspension etc so i can do some of the servicing to my car my self.

Hi i am new to the skyline scene and i recently purchased a r33 GTS-T. My car has done 107,000kms and i asked the dealer at the time of purchase if the car has had the timing belt changed at 100k and they said they had a look at it and and the belt had looked to be new. After having the car for a wk or so i was having a good look at the engine and it doesn't apear that any of the screw on the front of the timing belt cover have been touched. My question is, is there any easy way to see part of the timing belt without taking off the whole cover. eg a small removable cover plate. If not i am starting to wonder if the dealer checked the belt out at all meaning that the timing belt would need imediate attention. Also i was just wondering where a cheap place would be to buy a timing belt. eg auto barn, nissan dealer. Any info would be great.

Yeah i don't mind the backfire. I was following my mate round in his car and i floored it past him and then boom. It made biggest back fire yet. I loved it and my mate later said wtf did ya car blow up or something. I wonder if there was any flamage out da back.

Hi I just resently purchased my first skyline and i was just wondering if it is normal for them to backfire when u rev it out in each gear then change up to the next gear. My car has 3inch cat back exhaust with large straight thru muffler on the rear. It only really backfires when i run it up to round 6+ on the tacho. I am thinking that it maybe running a little rich on fuel and under heavy acceration it must let a bit of fuel get out to the muffler. Any info would be great.

Man i just found out how long it takes to clean me car. Took like 1.5 hrs to wash it and chammy it clean. then 1.5 hrs to polish every panel and kit part. Hmm maybe i need to get me a g/f so she can clean it for me

Hey i was just wondering how long it took for you guys to stop feeling paranoid about ur cars when u first got them. i don't want to take it to any shopping places and i too affaid to leave it any where in public too long. Also when i get out and turbo timer is going i feel weird walking off with the car running.

Thanks for your help. I was thinking i might just get the multi meter out and start tediously going thru every wire for the stereo to work out what they are. I got no radio in my car at moment and it was starting to get very boring.

Hi i am wanting to put a cd player in my car but i am unsure what wire is what in the dash audio wiring loom. I had a bit of a search for it in the audio forum but no luck yet. Does anyone know which colours are for speakers and power etc or can someone put me in the right direction to find them out. Thanks for your help.

I am really happy with the car and i am still getting used to people looking at me every where i go as my old car was a subaru 4WD station wagon. it is very nice inside and out plus some of the things that i was planning to do when i got a skyline have already been done on this car for me by the jap owner. The car is quite standard with a few mods which i have listed below: -TEIN coil over adjustable suspension all round. -Front strut brace. -Turbo timer. -98' series 3 front bumper. -3" cat back system.

Hey thanks for the info. I am actually getting the car on friday. I brought it thru a dealer in melb and the car just had to get compliance etc done to it but i pick it at end of the wk. The wheels i got were on another car at the time cos i asked them to fit them to my car. They seemed to be nice wheels with few minor dints etc but i got them for $500 including 2 new tyres. I haven't actually seen them on my car yet but they looked nice on the car that they came from so i hope it will look as good. I will post a pic of it when i get it.

Hi i am just about to become another skyline owner and i am getting my car from this dealer in melb. I scored some nice wheels with the car and the dealer said they would be worth round $1000 a wheel including tyre. The rims are WORK brand VS model 17 inch with 255/40's on the rear and 235/40 on the front. They have a few scratches etc but i don't think they would be worth that much as second hand wheels. Does anyone know what sort of money these type of wheels are and does anyone know any good website that have rim prices n stuff. Thankyou for your input.

Hi I am new to the skyline scene and i am thinking of getting my own one very soon. I was just wanting to know if you must run ur skyline on PULP such as optimax or can u run it on normal unleaded occasionally. Also can u mix half premium half normal unleaded. Does using normal unleaded f up ur engine. I know that the engine wouldn't perform as well but I just thought that on long trips etc to make it a little cheaper you might be able to mix a little normal unleaded with the premium. Any info would be muchly appreiciated.
