hi all i need an rb20 turbo actuator that hasnt been altered from factory asap

car tuned and running sweet. just need more boost. it should be good to go for this weekends drift day.

all turbo skylines come out with a viscus lsd. these can be reshimed to act like a normal viscus. lock under acceleration or shimed super tight to be like a welded/ 2 way diff. a new shim from nissan costs around $10 and for someone thats done one takes only a few hours. KAZZA do cheap locker diffs. 1 1.5 and 2 way for about $1100 which is cheap for a new diff centre. so are you after a complete diff or just a centre. if yours is just single spinning than a re shim and some new lsd oil and it would probably be sweet as.

just to update on this. i ended up going for a r33 halfcut as i needed to factor in a manual conversion. that cost me around 5g on a budget with a new clutch and front mount plumbed up and all. if i was to do it again i would go the rb25 again. if i had a manual r32 i would get just an auto halfcut or just a long motor. rb25s are cheap as now and if you look through a few rb25 posts just a simple remap and mild mods can net you 200rwkw and tthen there is heaps of room to move. my car actualy got stolen only 6 weeks after completion but i have another r32 now. it was had an rb25 de in it so now its rb25 de+t haha. i am trating this the same as i would an rb20 thoe and i have now gone a GTR power FC and gtr injectors but i dont reccomend doing this after it adding up the costs. 300 injectors, 120 cleaning, 150 gtr resistor pack, 60 new plugs to suit injectors. thats grate news john. the extra boost by the turbo would help that figure. thats what limits rb25 turbos one rb20s. they need more boost and will love it.

ok i have done some testing myself and i can 100% garentee that the resitor pack out of an mr30 skyline is the same resistance as a GTR item. i ran these tests but checking on a mates GTR then checking a resistor pack that i went and pulled out of an mr30. i have had this system in and running for a few days with no problems, my car should be being tuned in a week to doubble check there isnt any problems. i am running GTR injectors with a GTR power FC wich has been modified to suit the rb25de+t wiring loom. basicly exactly the same as a rb20 loom. i also highly recomend changing the injector plugs on the loom. my injector plugs were different to the GTR injector so i changed them but changing the plug also alows for the new resistor pack wiring to be wired into the the plugs themselves saving one solder joint. i am not sure how easy it is to come across an mr30 on the mainland but one of my co-workers rallys them and has about 5 for spare parts so i can get a few for needy people. just PM me. i hope this small bit of info helps as i couldnt find a straight answer on here.

well a big update for me. surge tank and fuel system is in and running. oil cooler fitted. 25mm spacers and guard flaring done. injectors in and working. power FC in, modified and running. basicly only heaps of very minor jobs to do and its all finished. i took it for a quick spin around the yard and i think it will be ok. haha.

as far as symmons goes. it costs. to start with you need a cams afilliated club membership. around 45 avalible on the day you then need a cams licence. 40 odd for a day licence which can then be upgraded. 50 track fee for launcestion light car club and other MST afiliated club members 95-99 for non Motor Sports Tasmania afilliated club members so propably around $150 to enter on the day if you have non of the above. cams licence and club membership are yearly one off things so it will only cost you the $50 odd each time after wards

looks like you need to invest in one of stus incar cams but seriously your camera man did a good job. seccond corner looks like a hand full. have you rebiult many motors wogboy? ive got an rb25 waiting for a rebiuld up here you wont mind if i send it down.

i just had a look at your page. the biuld seems good sofar. is that an r32 rear subframe as well? what brakes will you be running? and how stuctualy sound are these things? i dont doubt that it may be stront just looks like to many boxes and not enough triangles for strength? also how do you go about getting these things engerneered? just a few questions as it looks like it would be orsome fun to make one? are you biulding off plans as such or all from scratch.

i have some r32 front hubs. they have the full arm atached to the hub thoe dont they. where the top arm ataches is part of the hub? anyway i have about 5 avalable if you need some mate. just shoot me a pm with a price. i am in launni.

Ahhh fair enough, i can relate to that. is it a race car? i thought you may have gotten another race one from the way your post read? update for me is my GTR injectors are in but not wired up yet. i realy wish people for the past 12 months that i have read had said that GTR injectors are the best as they have realy cost me way to much to do properly and i am just shy of some prand new ones. aas for me im not sold. dam it

no bov at the moment but a small atom one may be added. i did want to run a plumb back but it didnt happen quite how i wanted. do you think this will ba an issue. was somthing i wasnt concerened with with the haltech but it may be a problem with the pfc well NA engines knock anyway so with the boost its still going to knock just if its a problem it will knock sooner ie less boost or revs i would have thought. may be completly wrong. rb arent rotories you know haha.

i have no idea realy? its not running yet. i do have a coupple of spares if i find these are buggered. but i should be able to borrow a bolt on knock sensor thing if need be. what did streety think of my setup?

yea i understand that for sure. yea maybe, still wondering what option to take. i can pay few $100 and get it dynoed or take it to the track and spend all day tuning every aspect maybe? it will be on a tight budget thoe so money may decide.

Wogboy. that is a sweet looking r32. thoe i profer the old wheels it had. i like the old school look. is it road regoed or is it a race only car? t01-100 is that going to be the last white hot cage? for a while anyway or is ther still one or 2 to be finished. guesty what is the new car? my car is so very close to being a rb25de+t. i am keen as to drive it again and hopefull it will produce enough power for my likings. i am going to try and run all 5 drift series rounds in it plus a practice day before each of them so if i get a spare weekend id love to bring it out to a club day and get atime to work on. ive added a few average quality pics on its progress.

i have just read over all of this thread and i was just wondering ( GTRgeoff ) how the resistors from jaycar are going? i am about to do this myself and i i am thinking it may be neater to just use resistors in line with each injector plug rater than wiring in a resistor pack. only consern i have is the resistors not taking the load and buring out. i would profer not to kill my Power FC or injectors. any ideas on there life span? thanks for any help.

pitty this isnt a few weeks off as i am planing on road tuning my Power FC out on the track plus some shake down laps to get the new beast wormed up.
