Umm they could do with a clean / vacume but when I take them out I will be taking the covers off (theres zips on the back to allow this) and washing them. Other then that there in good condition with no rips / tears. will take piccies later on today.

I saw a R35 (or whatever there calling them) skyline on the freeway today, number plates FUL SIK. Holly shit did it look clean (paint, new look, brembos quite visable etc), but god damn are they ugly from behind. Not all that quick either....

Hi all I just installed my PFC and tooling around in it on the stock map. Not the best I know, but tunes are expensive and will get done asap. Its getting some knock. never really over a quater of the way up the chart... Is some knock to be expected, how dangerous is it and should I still be driving the car? How much do they normally run and at what point on the knock sensor graph should I start getting concerned? Thanks Ian

no. You cannot own a GTR on your P plates. Or a GTST. The exceptions are for things like smart cars which have a turbo but go nowhere despite that..... The GTS you can have tho, its NA. Or thats at least as far as I know. There are also individual exceptions in extenuating circumstances eg work owned vehicles that you must drive to make a living,but thats limited. You *might* be able to plead a case to an officer on the side of the road if you get pulled up after having worked on a car and taking it for a test spin around the block, but for your all day every day car I wouldnt hold much hope. Your best bet is a R33 GTS4 IMO. Or a honda integra type R...

Woohoo, PFC in and running... Runs okay on the factory map, could be better, nifty little thing tho cutting out the injectors alltogether when you jump off the throttle and the car has enough momentum to go forward on its own... Hello fule econo...

Yeah there a nifty little unit. On my mountain drives I run map 2 on 45 gain and tooling around town is map 1 35 gain... I also have tein coilovers and adj. castor rods.

I got my PFC in now, in need of a tune. Stock maps Okay, but it could be better, a little more grunty in the low and midrange and about the same as stock up high... injector duty never go's above 40% on 0.9 bar so im questioning if I have the stock injectors in there... anyway I might give matt spry a ring, would be good to get done before dyno day.

Hey dudes, has anyone ever considered that how it happens is the fins come off the compressor wheel then go through the intake, being made out of ceramics they hit the IC at high speeds, fracture then the IC makes cheese out of them, which proceeds to go through the engine? Would be the most logical conclusion to me...

Mike, if you think my gtr is a "land boat" you have another thing coming. Several people have commented on its ability to turn now and for good reason. As to the next MX5 I pull up next to being better then my GTR, well, I somehow doubt it. Unless I cut hair for a living, which I dont... I was getting my haircut today however, and the owner of the buisness drove an MX5. I couldnt help but think of you when she answered with that. In Reply to driving my own car to my own events... Lets see you build your turbo MX5 and never ever ever have anything break ever at all whatsoever until the end of time. Having a fair bit of experciance with turbo mazda piston engines, I would say its unlikely. Didnt you say at last stage you were droping a BPT into your MX5? How is that going?
