  1. so jsut saw/heard my first alfa 4c.. Never had some much want for a car. squat aggressive, rear looks like a ferrari, front like an alfa and side a cross between a 35gtr and a elise. and sounds like a big capacity motorbike.
  2. was 8:20am local time...
  3. yes well some of us just woke up
  4. carservice.com.au edit have to register, and clunky interface, but data seems good.
  5. for 120K yes, for 130, just change oil then go to pub and ppl wonder why we service cars ourselves...

  7. what I love is that this was banned b4: but now p plates can have one!!!
  8. so does this mean I cannot drive a new HSV VE GTS on my P's. disapoint.. think will risk it anyhow cops are stupid.
  9. considering my ute is tail happy with maybe 130ish...I'ld hate to drive it! admittedly holden don't have cart springs for rear suspension, but then they don't tow/hold as much. now that in a sports wagon would be fun.
  10. so not 100% suitable for work, but not too bad (anyhow the work proxy won;t pick it up) http://stores.ebay.com/Babe-Not-Included
  11. and watch subaru/toyota start crying? yeah worth it
  12. i always like the fact the holden cruze. 2 models the "sportier" faster was NA the slower less powerful one a small turbo.. and which is the only one a new driver could have... or you could drive the superseded Renault Clio Cup but not the less powerful mini cooper S I could go on for days but yes how hard is it to find a small car released in past 2 years with no turbo varient,
  13. yeah any car can speed. this was me in a 2L NA wagon all 105 Fly KW training is more important that power to weight. oh and earlier that day I had a 92kw FWD hatch at indicated 205!
  14. well considering nearly every low powered car these days is turbo charged, this rule was brought in at exactlly the wrong time. SO I can drive a 200+kw XR6 or SV6 but not a 1L 90 kw fiesta... or say ANY Volvo on market today as that would not be safe... yes I know these cars started getting exceptions but they had to modify build plates and such which is such a joke. the P plate laws never affected me, (obviously) but damn they were the biggest pile of turd the vic gov ever created.
  15. So redoing my security clearance at work.. List all Overseas travel in past 10 years.. FML
  16. richo when he had about 220ish RWKW did around 25-30 track days plus a years worth of driving on some AD08's so yeah they cost more...but they also last more. If I remember right ash had some A048 or A050's on his GTR street driven when first got it, lasted about 5000km
  17. PIARC is a Vic super sprint round so going to sell out very fast, so didn;t want to have people miss out, that said people are more than welcome to do PIARAC just for fun.
  18. Sorry folks, WRX had double booked PI in July. so we are having to drop that round
  19. thank you SIMON
  20. track yes, any day yes, i'm throwing out my 20km old 123's for them (thanks for that SIMON) but for street meh was going to keep and total them at a deca but seing that not happening, no point
