  1. after seeing the economy's in greece/spain/UK I see the logic in it. basiclly there. ppl here economic down turn, so decide to save some money rather than say buy a new car so car sales places put some ppl off, unemployment went up. ppl got more scared started eating out less so waiters/waitresses got put off unemployment went up so on. till it got to a point gov could not recover by just spending some money. yes most of the surplus money went OS as hell we don;t build anything in AU. but it kept ppl confident to keep buying things and the economy rolling along. why else does every-one in the world envy AU economy. and yes now we tighten up when in better times to pay that back and we still the lucky country

  16. I did this once..it scared me. my old man and friends had nothing to do on weekends pubs not open and such. so they would buy a party keg of beer put ice on top put in back of station wagon and drive around the country side till it was empty. no seat belts drunk in V8's if you believe the media of today, he is dead! they did meet Donald Campbell working on bluebird (the boat not car) on one of these trips
  17. guess I was jsut lucky, pulled over by a cop once in my life (excluding booze buses) and that was completely legit, I was speeding and he came round a bend. how do you all create so much attention?
  18. why would you take points from some-one doing 40 over? cannot be much of a friend to dump him with that, (or for doing 40 over in a loaned car) he signs a stat dec declaring the correct driver sorted.
  19. Spotted what I thought was a very interesting car today, wife didn;t want me to stop for a photo tho. Alpine A310 Red Wide Body Massive Wing Group5 plates looked all set to hit the track. edit: quick google seems to have found it.
