  1. interested in a pair of: BRIDE STRADIA II - FRP $680 regular size colour black
  2. upgraded alloy radiator, handles hard driving fine. i just have a davies craig thermo fan going, running on a mechanical temp switch. The new davies craig controllers can control both the pump and fan which ive been thinking of upgrading too. Ill get some pics for you.
  3. yes ive been running one for around 6 months, the nylon 115 with the controller. only problem i have had is one hot summer day it blew the main fuse that feeds it, i guess the engine bay temp and the hot day combined with the long run of the wire to the battery did it, the wire is sorta smallish so i upgraded it and haven't had a problem since. with the existing pump i just pressed the shaft out and welded up the whole. very happy with it thus far.
  4. in for series 1 set yea, they look pretty good. So you could go a dual HID setup if you were running the mod for low beams on when high beams are on? That way it wouldn't matter if the high beams take awhile to come on because you would always have low beams... I understand this makes the wiring a little more bulky because you need to run 2 ballasts, but might be worth it for the extra light output... Also in regard to pricing i reckon just break it down to options. Makes it easier for the company to market the product and caters to people's different needs. The guys that want angel eye's or whatever may be able to pay extra for that. You would always have to provide your own, whether it be the ones off your car or ebay some.. so glass lens replacement might be x dollars carbon fibre bulb surround x dollars (next level of options will be led's as parkers, one or two hid housing's etc ) Another option/idea to keep costs down is maybe they can just modify the existing plastic housing to take hid's
  5. the only info on the splitfire coils i could find is for the sr20det here is the link to their page with the info: http://www.splitfire.com/splitv_disystem_nissan.html So according to graph 2 i think they are saying that the normal/stock sr20det coils output a stable 20 millijoules up to 8000 rpm, whereas the splitfires output around 30 millijoules. I also found some info on the ls coils, but he has only measured the peak secondary current and of course is in a different unit of measurement: "On the LS1 coil there is around 40 milliamps of peak secondary current with 5 milliseconds of dwell time. On the LS2/truck coil (AC Delco D585), there is 120 milliamps!" this info is from: http://www.megamanual.com/seq/coils.htm Maybe some people better versed in electronics can help us out...
