  1. Yeh my dad used one of the reccomended for the V35, guy hit him from a slip lane and Just car sent the car to Abbotsford Body Repairs (http://www.abbotsfordbodyrepairs.com.au) bit far from us, but we were glad that they sent the car there. Paint was matched perfectly (Factory candy blue pearl) and you cannot even tell that they had repaired the bumper and guard. These guys had a few porsche GT racing cars in there for repairs and an Audi R8, so I think they know what they are doing. They even sent the rim off for balancing and had it repaired, the scratch on it wasnt even noticeable.
  2. Have to agree there!! Have seen a lot of Scott's work and seen his piping hold 550+ rwkw, practical is just the start of it! It might not have a badge, but probably flows better and has better value for money than "badges" out there. Some of his custom designs are awesome, even trying to get him to do some improvements on some fabrication that has been done to my car.
  3. Might have been a bit closer than 1m!! But fantastic response!!
  4. Aaron, Barry has a set at Edge. I used his when I had to adjust my coilovers.

You might be able to get away with it if the car doesnt have to be inspected. But if anything happens, insurance wont cover you without it being engineered.
  6. I have the Optima D34 yellow top in my car. This is the second one, the first one lasted 7 years!!! It all depends on how you use the car, blue is marine from memory.

    Air Box

Vicroads will want an exhaust noise check if the defect says anything about the limit not to be exceeded. Just take the certificate in with your defect.
  8. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Registration/WhatHasToBeRegistered/Written-off+Vehicles/VehiclesDamaged25Dec2011HailStorm.htm?intcmp=HPE00076 From what I can see (and heard of from a few people) if it shows it was written off just to hail damage, no VIV required. Probably would have to get the VIN and confirm with Vicroads to see if the car was just written off for hail damage and not water damage.
  9. Regarding the holes, ive seen these on an S13 and it passed engineers, same reason for a defect http://www.boostcruising.com.au/forums/index.php?showtopic=624808 not sure about the skylines. If its good for one, it should be good for the other! Sanjay Bhide(VASS No.1021) Autoteam Consultants Pty Ltd 6 Mosman Close 0402 407 839 Thats the engineer who did the S13. Maybe give him a try.
  10. Hi mate, you interested in selling the front bar? I can pick it up today if you are.

    Hail Damage

Yeh, pain in the ass! I was coming home just as it hit too!! Grrrrr, got a few dents on the roof, but what pissed me off the most is that on the Tulla, a tree fell down as I was driving past, swerved and missed most of it, but what I didnt miss went through my front bar! Lucky it missed cooler and oil cooler!
  12. Do you by any chance have the original series 1.5 front bar?
  13. I put the Deatschwerks in mine. It is much quieter than the Bosch 044 & with the fuel relay upgrade in the DIY forum, that solved all my fueling issues. Also put in a Nismo adjustable fuel reg as advise from my tuner. Car is making 328rwkw on 20psi.
