  1. Haha! At least there's evidence you were actually there!!!
  2. Ummm.... plain - with 300kw, yeah right! Sure about that? Not saying it won't, but I wouldn't base buying a car on that. Have you got quotes for the insurance for both? Wouldn't think there'd be much difference but there could be. I'd probably go the N1 as well if it has air-con, but would definately depend on condition and price.
  3. PM me your age, details and experience (if any) - can't promise anything but can at least give you some advice, Peer training is prob the way to go.
  4. I'm just wondering how the QFM pads could be MILES better... I'm didn't experience brake fade once and I was pushing that brake pedal pretty damn hard lap after lap. If QFM are at least as good or better I'll happily buy a set when I'm due next, just honestly wondering how much better they could be.
  5. Link added under pic - lucky VNC works well from Darwin!!
  6. This is all I got - sorry! Was too busy driving! High Res
  7. Hmmm - reckon I might stick to the EBC Red Stuff.
  8. wasn't my camera-was your finger! Looks like you starting recording but then realised you weren't going for a couple of minutes and turned it off. Oh well-at least the other footage is good.
  9. I was behind you at one stage and it was a damn good match, was interesting looking at others peoples lines. I used the Race Chrono app on my Nokia (see below), I think it's available for iPhones as well and it's free! I was sceptical at first but it seems to be spot on from looking at the video footage. I had to download the Mallala track inside the app, which applies the GPS co-ords including 4 sectors. For each session it works out your best 4 sectors then adds them together for a theoretical best time which for me was a 1.25 - I wish! http://www.racechrono.com/
  10. Yeah awesome day! Thanks again Adrian for organising. Managed to run a 1.27.46 as per Race Chrono (unconfirmed with the video footage), so pretty happy with that. Should be a 1.25 in it with some sharpening up. Will post some vids up on youtube. Can't believe how punishing the track is on brake pads. Good work Luke (ENR_34) for helping everyone. Oh and nice video Lance! Love the dirt action!!
  11. See you all at Villis - don't know if I'll get there by 6am, but will try. Can't wait!
  12. I'm down in the dirty south! But will probably just meet up with everyone at Villis. What time's the Villis meet up again for my bad memory.
  13. On Sunday spotted a red R35 heading into Birdswood, then a clean black 32 GTS-T in Woodside then while having lunch at Grumpys saw a couple of 'lines drive past (may have been the 32 from Woodside). 2 minutes later witnessed a Karmin Ghia cruise (kid you not! With a very poxy white VW beetle convertible in the middle) then literally a minute after that a Trans-Am cruise!! Definately was a good day for a fang through the hills!
  14. Thanks for the responses guys - firstly it plays up all the time (once the spark plugs have given up) but only over about 5,000rpm and at full boost, light throttle is fine. I rang Nissan last week for a price on the coil pack loom and it was definately over $200, can't remember exactly. The MDI was in the car when I bought it - to be honest I can't see a need for it being there as the engine is only stock and not running huge numbers. I think I might just take a chance and buy the wiring loom and take the MDI's out of the car. Maybe as Brad said the ignitor is stuffed as well??
  15. Flat spots aren't though..... and Dan, from memory aren't you a member of the grammar police?? How do you spell signature?
  16. $122.50 transferred - should see it tomorrow.
  17. I have the Ultra MDI fitted to my car (was on it when I purchased). From the very start I've had ignition problems, first with the standard coil packs (which were quickly replaced with Splitfires) as well as spark plugs. In the 18 months I've had the car I've probably gone through over 10 sets of spark plugs and just recently a set of Iridium's only lasted 10 days! Most of the time I've been using BCPR6EY-11 gapped to 0.8mm. Everything's fine for a couple of weeks then the car starts misfiring / spluttering. I'm thinking the extra voltage / current from the MDI is killing my spark plugs but I'm not 100% sure. I got a 2nd hand coil pack wiring loom (in bad condition) to bypass the MDI but it makes the car even worse with brand new plugs. I've tried colder plugs, and gapped a couple of sets to 0.7mm but no joy. I'm thinking a new loom from Nissan might solve my issues but at $300ish it's a gamble. The engine is stock running a Power FC, runs 1.1 bar of boost on standard R34 GTR turbos. Pic of MDI units below, any advice would be appreciated.
  18. United servo?? Does the 100 Octane have ethanol in it?? Keen to try it out.
  19. My thoughts exactly. Rodney - I'll be in Tassy then (1st to 10th Nov).... bugger.
  20. I rang a couple of places today and both said it would take them around 6 hours so at roughly $90/hr equates to $540ish... quite happy to pay someone for 3 - 4 hours but 6.... ??
  21. Spotted a maroon R33 heading north on West Ave Edinburgh this morning (whatshisname??) then this arvo a nice white R33 GTST with gold BBS rims on Kenihans Rd, Happy Valley.
  22. +1 I thought to myself 'how did I not see this come up' and then saw the date!! Pitty the title didn't have the year in it - not that it should need it!
