  1. Just thought you may want to price it more appropriately if you want to sell R32 one. http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?p...at=0&page=1
  2. No harm in offering prices when u didn't say it was firm. Could you pm me your contact details so I can check out all 4 mags before I buy
  3. Sorry it took so long mate, been busy. Here's the pic of the rubbers for you.
  4. so your selling this more expensive then JJR ?
  5. I have them on mine, looks nice and neat. Here's a pic that I used on another thread but you can see the rubber, just. I'll take another pic for you.
  6. Spent another couple of hours on it today. This time doing the roof and boot, I wouldn't want to do the whole thing at once would suck ass. Well I ran out of the polish and wax I was using so decided to get some new stuff. For use after claying, Scratch X. And then NXT Generation wax. The finish is a little better then the Carnuaba wax I used, but will be interesting to see how the NXT performs when wet. Its supposed to be water repellent. Here's some blurring pics cause it was getting dark, and being black damn hard to keep focus.
  7. have any of you guys tried clay on your cars paint? Well I've been a lazy ass on my car and as some of you know you can't neglect a black car. Anyway I haven't waxed it in over 6mths and there's all sorts of stuff stuck to my paint. The worse was tree sap and I had a bee infestation above where the car was parked and it left honey dots all over my car. The other bad thing was industrial fall out, sticks to your paint and feels like grit, being black it bakes in. Well I decided I needed to do something about it today and spent about 2hrs on the front end of the GTR (bonnet and guards. First off I use prepsol grease and wax remover to get all the sap and honey off. I then used a polish which took ages and didnt do much due to the industrial fall out. Was a bit pissed at the result so I remembered I had a Meguiar's Clay Detailing kit, so I thought I would give it a go. Once you spray on the quick detailer you pinch off a piece of the clay and start rubbing with it, you will feel how gritty your paint is, so continue to do it until it feels smooth. Once I finished that I then used the polish again to get the light scratches off, this time with much better results. Then finished it off with Meguiars carnuba wax and microfibre buffing cloths. I gotta say I'm very impressed with the results, it feels even smoother then glass and doesn't even leave finger prints. I ran my fingers over the paint and it doesn't mark it. Quite happy with the results. So if you still have that gritty feel to your paint after polishing and waxing, go get the clay and give it a go, you wont be disappointed.
  8. What condition is it in, if good I'll take it.
  9. Thanks for your help Rekin did it today, pretty easy once you pull the plastic trim off
  10. cheers will do it this weekend
  11. Yep understood that bit but how do u get it from the battery to under the inner guards /wheel wells?
  12. If you dont mind me asking how did you run it through the inner guard? if there a hole that can be used or did you drill one?
  13. Never mind found it here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/In...amp;hl=firewall
  14. If its anything like the R32, you will need to remove the parcel tray and then undo 4 screws before the grill will come off.
  15. Hi guys, the only place that I have found to run the power cable through firewall is on the passenger side. Does anyone know if there's a loom on the drivers side to run a 4g power cable. I don't really want to run a cable from the battery across the other side of the bay. Oh BTW I have a R32 GTR.
  16. Thanks mark, got the watches today, very happy with them have left some feedback for you
  17. had a look at some rims but there is no specs on them, how the hell would you know what fits?
  18. Lol don't you just love agressive sellers.. Some people may want actual pics of the unit as a reassurance that you actually have it forsale, especially when you have 4 post on here and no trader rating. As stated serial numbers are important, as the later versions didn't have the problems of the older units. Maybe try and be helpfull and you may find yourself selling it.
  19. let me know if this falls through, nice bargain deal
  20. Now installed I think it fits right in with the GTR looks
  21. Ok the final stage. This was actually so simple, I thought I would have to buff it with my Dremel, but instead I put on some car polish and buffed it like I would a car and hey presto done !!!! Took about 5 mins each sail to do lol Here are some pics of them Hope this helped you guys that are wanting to do something similar.
  22. I would buy it but as stated it's not a genuine Nismo and your reasoning for it being so pricey was that it was a NISMO item, so i think you should adjust the price accordingly. Also is this fibreglass or rubber?
  23. I was bored so I grabbed the wet and dry paper and started sanding it back. This was done with 800 then finished with 1200 grit wet rubbing. I meant to start on 600 then 800 the 1200 but I didn't pick up the 600 at the shop by mistake. Anyway this is one step closer to getting finished, I'll throw some polish on it and buff it up tomorrow to a glass finish. Here's what it looks like rubbed back, also known as the dry carbon look.
  24. Did a little bit more today. Trimmed all the excess CF off with a Dremel. Note if you are doing this I would suggest you get yourself one, even a cheap rotary tool will do, or else it's virtually impossible to do this. Try and not cut into any plastic though. As you can see the CF dried a bit dull and lumpy. The next steps will be to sand it down to a smooth surface and then polishing it. I should be able to do this tomorrow after work.
