Would that do any damage to the pump, or the fuel line coz the stock ecu is not detecting it?

Hey guys, i just got this proble, while the car is turned on and running, it idles fine for abit then the rev suddenly drops down( around 1000rpm) then it start making choking sounds like the car is about to die( then it died the first time today lol ).. but the car drives fine n stuff on the road, just went it is idleing.. i just fitted an aftermarket fuel pump, it that the problem? plus i just ordered an emanage ultimate as well, so be here end of the week, then get it fit n tuned, would that fix the problem? think my stock ecu doesnt pick up the new pump fuel and getting too much fuel feeded through..the car is a 34 gtt nways Cheers Albert

my mates s2 34 didnt come with one, he said the dealer have to take it out for compliance? mm but im pretty sure they come standard
