  1. Brad, ive made the spot for you. Hopefully you will be in Stagea. If not, and there is someone with a stagea waiting, we will work out the payment side of things between us as i dont usually do refunds...but exceptions are made of course! Should be no problem. However, if Jippa has no problem with it, id say bring out the other car.....but Stagea would be better
  2. I though general opinion was that Mitchy was allowed in because he has a 6cyl, AWD wagon? Jippa, ya going to let him in? Its your event basically, so its your call mate. Snapper, you will be driving a Stagea yeah? Just asking as this is a Stagea only event and i dont know alot of you guys LOL Cheers Brad
  3. IMHO its probably easier just to pay it.
  4. ssshonky, yeah $75 per driver. Its a Stagea yeah? PM sent. The helmet rule was past about 12 months ago that any body in any vehicle on the skid pans or track must have have a helmet. Insurance politics! Same rule for everyone noadays
  5. Dale, your on Standby! And dont tell people my job is a bludge
  6. And what you have all been waiting for..... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...Da-t200942.html Cheers Brad
  7. Hey guys, I have been asked to book a Driver Training day on the skidpan at the AHG Facility in Kewdale for you Stagea Folk!! The training is held in a controlled environment on a skidpan with instructors. We have paid for two instructors so everyone gets more time training (otherwise a lot of time is lost while the instructor changes cars). I am unsure who the instructors will be at the moment, however i have done several of these days and recommend any of thier instructors. You will do a variety of motor kahna style challenges, which aim to teach things like handling of your vehicle and braking. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED!!!! When - Sunday 30th March 2008 Time - 12pm SHARP - 4.30pm. Driver briefing is at 12pm so BE ON TIME!! Cost - $75 per driver Where - AHG Driver Training Facility. Grogan Road Perth International Airport Please note this is primarily a Stagea only event. Places will go to Stageas first and if there are any left after a week, non-Stagea drivers will be offered the remaining spots. There are only 16 spots available so please PM me if you wish to participate (please give me your full full name aswell) and I will put you on the list, and send you my bank account details - as you will need to pay within 7 days to confirm your spot. (First in first served basis sorry) If you wish to pay me by cash, PM me and ill tell you where i can be found during the day. Your name will NOT be added to the attendees list unless you PM me, this means I won't be taking names down from people just posting in the thread. Driver/Vehicle requirements Long Sleeve top, long pants required Helmet Fully enclosed foot wear Drivers Licence Car to be registered with no safety defects Seatbelts All loose items removed from inside the vehicle Road legal tyres (no slicks) Common sense and a sense of humour. I will be organising plenty of soft drink, water and snack. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. As i work during the day i will normally respond to PM's regarding this in the evenings (job etc to do during the day )so if you dont get an instant reply, dont panic. Lets get started!!!! 8. Yeah but bring a puncture repair kit. So many times my night has been disappointing because i dont have a repair kit In regards to the goat on the course, you should all go and get roo bars fitted your stags
  9. Dale, Yes, and a goat. if you want to come along bring your own goat!
  10. Theres a reason they call this course a "Driver Training" day. Micheal Shumacher and the like will get nothing out of this course....but the average joe driver, like you and me, should learn a thing or 2 if you want to. You can push the car as hard or as softly as you feel comfortable with while your learning several differnt techniques of driving your car (Steering, posture, vision, braking etc) Its not designed for you to push your car to the absolute limit to find out where it will let go, howevermost of the time, the drivers limit is a mile under the cars limit if you know what i mean. As for a wet track, all i can do to get the skid pan wet is a rain dance...if it works GREAT...if not, i can do nothing more My honest opinion to you is if you feel your driving level is at the very best it can be, then you are wasting your time and money coming. If you dont believe you will get any gain from it, and you have already convinced your self of that, then again, maybe best not to join us. On the other hand, if you enjoy driving your car, learning a few things along the way, and having a social chat with other like minded people, then sign up Cheers
  11. Jippa, dont list names yet. That will happen in the next thread confirming everything. It just makes it easier to run the event out of 1 dedicated thread. You will see what i mean very soon Date will be confirmed by this weekend and thread will be put in STAGEA DISCUSSION. Keep your eyes open folks Cheers Brad
  12. The earliest available date is Sunday March 30th in the Afternoon session 12.30 -4.30 Jippa, i need to know very soon weather you want this spot so i can start organising things. Yes its over 2 months away, but the advantage to this is everyone has time to get there cars ready and plan to be there on that day. Let me know asap Jippa. Give me a call if you need to, i am pretty sure you have my contact details. Cheers Brad
  13. R DIRTY 3

    New R35!

I was sad to see it once. Sader to see it twice
  14. Oh ok, i though you and chuckie were involved?
  15. You appeared to be having fun with your "doof doof" blairing
  16. The skid pan does not get wet...unless it rains, which i doubt this time of year lol They dont mind a little bit of sliding etc but full on drifting etc you will be spoken to. The driver training days are there to learn your car. No timing, no competitive racing. The instructors are there to help you learn to drive your car on the limit. You are encouraged to drive as hard as you can to the edge of the limits of your car, and quite often people will go a bit further than the cars limit (thats when it gets entertaining to watch!). You do not need 400+ hp or anything like that. I have run these events which are half full of n/a skylines etc so what ever you have, bring it out and have some fun!!! StinkyRooster was out there yesterday in an N/A Pulsar...and even in that sort of car you can still have a bucket load of fun!!! Jippa and chucky, we will organise a time in the next week or 2 to meet up and work out how you guys want this event to run Cheers Brad
  17. That did cross my mind but didnt think it was needed to be said a few hours after the man lost his car lol
  18. If he questions what a Stagea is, tell him its basically a GTR. I currently have an R33 GTR in the workshop and he has the driveshafts to rebuild and new boots etc....so he should be able to do your Stagea.
  19. Speak to Brad at West Coast Wheels down in Mandurah. He is a good guy and is always prepared to do a good deal! Tell him Brad from WA Suspension sent you
  20. Hey mate, ive always used Allans CV Joints in Osborne Park. Talk to John.
  21. Let Mitchy in.....i want to see how the mitsi wagon goes Plus Kylie will be entering to if she has a car still? p.s. Bit off topic but, Mitchy did you fix that noise in the front suspension??
  22. goto www.ls1.com.au and post in on there. Thats full of commodore guys. Hope it gets it back!!!
  23. There is a 20/twenty game of cricket tonight at the WACA. The game finishes about 9.30. Hope your cruise doesnt get caught up in to much traffic/RBT's etc. As my Skyline is unavailable to me at the moment, i cant go Good luck with your cruise
