Hey Andy, Is this buy going ahead ? Put me down for a '453'. To suit R33. Are the terminals on this battery the small size to suit the factory R33 clamps?

Yeah, labour of love....just dont tell your girlfriend that I've only had my 33 for about 3 - 4 weeks. Have pulled out dash, bumper, seats, etc etc. I've never bothered with other cars I've owned. Skylines just do it to you. lol. here's a pic of mine. havent had a chance to take pics in a nice spot yet. gotta love the plates. lol. i wish.

Ok, let me just start by saying, I'M AN IDIOT !!! The bulb i just put in works fine. I guess last time i tried it was after i'd finished pulling my dash out, and had my interior light swutched 'OFF'. It never occured to me that this switched my boot light off aswell. I guess that's what happened anyway. Do'h !!! Anyways, all good now. Still think i'll end up going with a Fluro in the boot. Thanks again Randy.

My concern would be bloating the tyre, and therefore wearing the center tread prematurely. But lets see what Al says. lol.

Before i bought my R33, i didnt really like the look of the R32 *ducks the hurling abuse* But now i think they look great. The more i look at them, the more i like them. Yours looks good. Black is the way to go.

I'm in need of tints. (i said tints) lol. 30% is legal, but dont seem to be very dark. I've heard the rear window is exempt from this rule. In other words, you can have it as dark as you like. Is that right? Also, anyone ever had an insurance claim rejected because the tints were illegal. What tints do you have? Where to get them done in Sydney?

Running 38psi all round now. Seems like a good call. Apparently, low profile, higher psi. That's what i was told... here and out there. Even 40psi would be ok. Has to do with the sidewalls being less able to support themselves, higher psi helps keep them in check. something like that anyway. plus i'm running nankangs, and these have got weaker nylon sidewalls, apparently. So cowie165, maybe 40psi was ok. Have you had any probs with uneven wear (in the middle) at that pressure over the last year?

Hey RANDY, I just checked the socket. Getting a good reading, 12.5v +. So what type of bulb? How many watts? Did i mention..... I LOVE THIS FORUM !!! It goes off :PBJ:

The strange thing is that my rear tyres (265/35/18) look well and truly pumped at 34psi. where as the front (235/40/18) look kinda flat at 34psi. is this because of the different series? I think i remember something about bicycle tyres, especially thin racing type, use a higher psi. Probably because there's less area to fill, so the pressure is greater inside. Not sure what the theory on all that is. i'm going to try 38 at the front, but might leave the rear on 34 for now.

Hey phee How dark are your tints? ...%? I need to get some tints. Dont think darkest legal are very dark though.
