  1. Good question. I've looked around for the new price of an R33, but cant find a thing.
  2. Cheers found the guide. should be all set to go as soon as there's time.
  3. Yeah, link not working. I need that link, or rather, that guide.
  4. damn, the 'removing console' link isnt working. http://users.tpg.com.au/adsldg7j/Console/console.htm
  5. Thanks for that. Just what I needed. Search shmearch. Forum search hardly ever yields relevant results.
  6. My climate control OFF button is loose in it's spot. It doesnt spring up, and doesnt switch off. I have the fan (on low) blowing all the time. Not a huge prob, but i would like to switch it off. R33 S1 GTS-T Has anyone pulled one of these units apart? Any guidance before i attack it? Here's a pic of the button:
  7. You might need to drill holes in the bottom of your indicators. After i sealed my lights, water was still filling my indicators and coming in through the bulb sockets. The sealing was necessary in my case, coz there was a leak there aswell. If you drill holes, make sure you take your bumber off first so you can get in under the lights. That way the holes wont be visible. So far so good, my boot is still dry.
  8. Ive seen a few around with lower series profile on the rear tyres. i dont get it. why? i prefer same series all round, or if anything, lower at the front. by the way, nice wheels David. they're gonna look hot
  9. That's the cream on the freakin' dumbass cake, for sure.
  10. That's unf**kingbelievable !!! How stupid would you have to be to get something tattooed on you without doing any research? I know if it was me, i'd have checked it 50 times before i even went into the tatt studio. On the other hand, if it was me, this guy would be hurting alot, for a long time.
  11. I wish i had that problem. Your bar looks pretty damn nice. It's kinda similar to mine, sorta, but doesnt look quite as low. Do you have issues with driveways and speed humps etc? Mine's way too low. Got stuck in a carpark the other day, exit ramp was too steep, had to go out the entry ramp. What type of bar is yours? Been looking at changing mine.
  12. off the topic a bit. well actually alot. can i point your attention to a recent problem i posted. any help is appreciated. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...T&f=79&t=121370
  13. Here's a pic with the lights on. It's an old pic, havent had time to take another one at night. These lights are very bright, and only meant for high beam use, as Col-GTSX said. They have led's in them too. And a switch box under the dash to change the colours. Nice novelty, but I dont use it, they were on the car when i got it. by the way, these arent my real plates, duh!
  14. What Craved said Also, you might wanna add some sikaflex around the bolt holes before you re-assemble, just in case.
  15. Sounds good david. Wouldnt mind seeing a pic. Your link didnt work. What series tyres are on them? Curious to see how you go with the 19", as far as rubbing. I've got 18" 35 series on mine. 235 front - 265 rear. Mine rub on full lock, but not during regular driving. It's a tight fit though.
  16. SORRY PPLS, I REALIZE I POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG AREA. I'VE MOVED IT TO GENERAL MAINTENANCE. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...T&f=10&t=121616 MODS, PLEASE DELETE THIS POST. My climate control OFF button is loose in it's spot. It doesnt spring up, and doesnt switch off. I have the fan (on low) blowing all the time. Not a huge prob, but i would like to switch it off. It's in my R33 S1 GTS-T Has anyone pulled one of these units apart? Any guidance before i attack it? Here's a pic of the button:
  17. cheers Liiger, appreciate that.
  18. I just got my lights removed and re-sealed. So it stopped the leak that was coming in from the top right of the tailight (as shown by a yellow arrow in the pic i posted earlier). But guess what? There was another problem. The blinker/reverse light was now filling up with water, and that water was entering the boot thru the bulb opening. Apparently, this is very common, because the lense has either cracked, or become unsealed inside. As far as i know, you cant pull it apart from the rest of the tailight. Anyway, I drilled a small hole on either side of the blinkers/reverse light lense. If you do this, first take off your bumper, so you can drill the holes from underneath. I'm hoping this is the end of my leaky boot issues. Will keep you posted.
  19. I've onlt had the car a week. Havent worked out kms/tank yet. But i see the needle dropping a bit too fast. Of course, the first few days i was giving it quite a bit. Does the BOV really blow fuel out ? I notice when i'm city driving in 4th, doing 60kph, the rpm's show about 2200. Does that sound high?
  20. I'd like to know the same thing. Seems my R33 GTST is using alot of fuel. BOV 3inch exhaust (all the way) Pod filter Standard boost
  21. Does an atmo BOV make that much difference? I've got an R33 S1 3 inch exhaust all the way to the turbo pod filter atmo BOV (pssshhhhttttt!!!). Standard boost. I dont know how much fuel i'm using yet, havent really had it long enough to take note. But i can tell it's going thru a fair bit more than i thought it would. When i hear that pod filter sucking air, i can feel my wallet emptying. Is this normal? City driving in 4th, doing about 60kph, sitting on around 2200rpm. Does rpm seem a bit high?
  22. I'll post a pic soon. Havent got one right now. These lights are really bright, like high beam+ bright.
  23. Are the fog lights like parking lights (dim) ? Or like spotties? I have a pair of spotties on my front bar. Bright as hell. I think they look ok. Wouldnt bother with the standard fogs, especially for the extra hassle of installing bulbs etc.
  24. Liz, I see you're in Sydney. If you find a good place that can do it soon for a decent price, please let me know. I'll do the same. And thanks emsta2003 for additional info.
