Interesting question Adam.. I would like to se others opinions on this topic... I am currentlly doing a similar conversion myself. Im using a GT30/40 high mount setup with a 0.8 rear housing. Im going for a 1.6mm head gasket as i want to lower the compression a fair bit as i have a standard bottom end. I also want it this way so i can get some good top end out of the turbo... My use is for street and drag maby a little bit of circuit in the future. But i am interested in what others say as i have not put allot of thought into this topic as yet as im still trying to get the clutch sorted out...

First PFC tune May 06 Matt Spry's 237rwhp Allstar same day 276rwhp Mercury Motorsport the next day 296rwhp... All with in 24 hours on the same tank for fuel and all at similar temp's... Take your pick??? Matt's dyno does not have to be accutate. His workshop is a temple of tuning. He simply uses it to mark gains from start to finish and of course to spin the wheels for tuning purposes. His setup is not for power runs or for dyno days, its simply a tuning tool.

Alex if your running enough boost your plumb back will be loud enough... Maby you shoudl go for what all the kids are going for these days as the new turbo part... (External wastegate)

The qld members forum is separate thats why you cannot see it. SAU allows SAU QLD to use the forums and thats non of your business as to why or what costs are involved and why would you want to know anyways. I never said you did, you said we flamed him, get your facts straight well if the forums are not to your liking then you wont mind a break from the forums. For lets say 7 days. The club needs to have the show and shine so it can be orginized with insurance. If you provide your public libility insurance yourself then you have your show and shine which is not illegal. You cannot tie the club or the forums to an illegal event. Maby you should put up or shut up. Your the problem here not anyone else. Cya in a week.

The club "SAU QLD" is a corperation and is seperate to the forums... Just like "Myer" or "Coles" is separate to "Coles Myer coperation" Anyways im telling you their separate. The club is for paid members, if you choose not to pay to become a member than you are not a member... Whats your problem with the system. The forums are free for all and anyone may use them as needed. If you feel left out then join the club.

Hold up... (GOR33) Lets get one thing straight... The club (SAU QLD) is separate to the forum (skylinesaustralia.com) Its just the forums are used by the club to communicate. Anyone is allow to orginise a cruise. Go for it, nothing stopping anyone from doing so. So as a moderator of the forums i will only interupt a post or a thread if it breaks forum rules. The only reason most people dont go cruising is because the club has allot of major events and we are generally already doing somthing or its an off weekend... There is no secret society or stone masons thats just in your head.

"Anonymous Skyline" hey... Well you will all be interested to hear that on Friday a Mother and Son faced court posing as Police officers in the Warner/Cashmere area. They were local residents who were anoyed with the people speeding and making excessive noice in their local area. They were caught by an off duty officer that they pulled over for speeding and were just going to give him a warning... If people are posing as police officers and your not sure ask for their station suburb and their stations phone number. You are then able to phone and ask if that person is on duty and patroling and you may also ask for the officer at the station to describe the officer as this is aparentlly more common than you think. If their for real they will comply.
