  5. that would be because of the 2500 motorbikes who will frequent the hills any given weekend... Its one entry and one exit, so no running... They had a dot station at the top of Mt G last weekend, took about 20 bikes off the road in the hour i was there having coffee...
  6. where will the cats live now???
  7. common bosch installs are to put the 040 intank... Note: this is not my image, just pinched it for illustration purposes... please dont use zip ties, although probably effective you'd be much better going with some pipe clamps...
  8. for the sake of sales i hope it rains Saturday, for the sake of drag days i hope its blue skys and cool air temps...

  10. I needed to read that three times and it made my head hurt... damn you Broncos making me go out drinking last night... Todd I reckon these are the best events and im sure you'll get a big crowd again, if im in town ill be there on 2 wheels.
  11. Ask Nismoboy about media attention... He tried good things before, got turned in his face... So then he turned hoon and proved them all right...
  12. Just be carefull that your efforts are not turned into a TT or ACA story "hoons donate blood, cause they will need it later"
  13. mate they charge wayyyyyyy to much for tnt for spectators... fair price for runners but to go watch is too much... if it were a nominal value like $5 they would get alot more attendance...
  14. I saw a ute yesterday with offset so wrong that i could see the inside of the rubber wall... and i couldnt believe it was being driven on the road....
  15. Wheel whore is the correct term... youve had more wheels than ive had mcdonalds breakfasts... Good Luck dan, hears hoping your applying for a seat in F1 and the car your speaking off comes with 4 open wheels, turbo charged V6 and a 7 speed transmission with hand clutch... Still swinging spanners Jas?
  16. i came for the cookies, staying for the thrill of putting the hammer down...
  17. Well id must say SAU saved me thousands on buying one... As at the time the market was very small and not many R33 GTR's were around... 60k was a pretty average price, little did i know i could import on myself... Saved me $20k on my first purchase, hung around since... What ever happened to your 4 door Chris? BTW, nice advendtures in europe... I followed your activity with jealousy... My motorbike has more HP than my car... oh oh and to top that, its automatic...
  18. I past 10 back in June under my original account... And to think i just signed up to get some opinions around pricing on an R33 GTR back when they were 60-70k in fair condition...
  19. I saw it incoming, knew we were going to hit and i just tucked my head right in... It was a small minor bird, but i hit it at about 140mph so it was like getting hit in the helmet with a hammer... I tucked right in looking at the fuel cap and gritted my teeth... BANG... cracked the top of the helmet wide open, huge split in the outter casing and I dont mind saying it hurt quite a bit actually... I had a headache about 20 minutes after the accident... Lucky to keep it up right, it was a bigger hit than most would expect...
  20. So i dont often comment in threads like this, but FYI... Last SAU QLD drag day at willowbank near Brisbane I took out my 08 R1 and we paired it against a modified S3 R35... From the launch the GTR grabbed a good 3 car lengths by the time id fully released the clutch, not supprising considering launch control etc... I pulled in the GTR rapidly once we had past 100kph and onward to 200kph he was well and truely behind... I ran 10.17 He ran 10.90 and i hit a bird just near the finish line, which destroyed my helmet... had to wait for my wife to come with my spare so i could ride home... at the end of the day it would take quite a few $$$ worth of mods to take down a stock litre bike... apply 20% of that amount of money spent to the litre bike and you wont stand a chance in a straight line...
