Thanks Garry
I just really need the tyres to stop scrubbing side ways down the road as my rear guards are always filled with rubber from just 100km drive...
Ill write em down... Try it on saturday...
Also i purchased a bush kit from whiteline pn: KCA347 but have been told they are useless and difficult to setup...
So i really just the wheels straightened to stop off centre scrubbing...
Thanks again
I worked on a GT 3000 in 2000 was the first one i had eva seen. After the test drive (driven by older mechanic) i was blown away. I had a soft spot for this car for ages until i got to ride in my first GTR.
After then i was hooked on the GTR and thats life...
I would certainlly own a GT 3000 but i would prefer the GTR first.
Hey guys...
Long story short...
Its time for a wheel alingment before i scrub more rubber off my rear tyres after fitting a new set of springs and shocks. I have had many wheel alignments done before but its costlly and i have access to a brand spanking new wireless wheel alignment machine next saturday.
However this brand new fang dangled machine only has Holden motor vehicles programed into its data base. Probablly because its based in the workshop of a major Holden dealership in Brisbane. Anyways i need the numbers for an R33 GTS-T Skyline asap.
Spec on my car is lowered 1.5 inch's. I dont think anything else has a bearing on the numbers. So if you do wheel alignments for a living i would like to hear from you. If you have access to the standard numbers (settings) I would also like to hear from you. Its just i have a guy to operate the machine and he wants the standard numbers to punch into it so it can do its bit. As in toe in and so forth those who have the figures i am looking for know what im talking about.
Thanks Col
On a postive and constructive note...
I think these laws will help decrease people speeding and thats what they are trying to do.
I also think they need to police my road at about 3am in the morning to stop the trucks from rat running to sandgate rd.
Some of them are going 90-100kph
Thats about as bad as a car doing 300kph....
Even then i reckon the truck would do more damage...
"I have a dream"
:cough:
I believe that if you don't break any laws then you have nothing to worry about.
On the other hand if you are me, then you are above the law so it does not matter.
:cough:
Foot Note: I am joking
Mate sorry i totally forgot about this thread until i dug it up for a guy the other day...
I tryed (like 8 months ago) and nothing happened. You set it to 0 and nothing happens when hit scramble...
So there is the answer you have waited almost a year for... LOL
Heres the link im talking bout
http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...08&hl=controler
I wrote this some time ago. But i still stand by what i have posted.
Ramps are always an issue with modified skylines due to the height on the front bar...
I always use a hydraulic jack and then stands... This is the safest method...
Dont ever get under the car just on the jack tho... Always put stands in place.. Ive seen what happens when cars fall on people first hand... Its not pretty...
I run a standard fuel rail and just a pfr and bump up the pressure slightlly and this has always worked for me...
I didnt look into aftermarket rails til the last couple of weeks and found that pleniums like the greddy are made to take the standard rail. So aftermarket as you said is really on nessary over 700hp...
Simple answer....
Dont take a high flow to 20psi...
Been there done that... I had a GCG highflow on the old rb20 and she broke at 18psi... so 20 is certain...
