Ay other Stag owners in Coffs Harbour? I've seen one around and heard of another.... Any of you on the forum?

Just paid for it today! And, yep, it is actually the one on J-Spec... Pretty cheap I know, but looks ok to me... heaps of detailed photo's provided. One of the selling points for me was that it isn't silver.... Keeping my fingers crossed that its on ok car, although obviously not expecting immaculate for that price! This is the first car I've imported so I'm a little nervous...

AS said, cheap r32, no real mods - silver, lowered, 18s, good rubber, immobiliser, fusion sub, alpines, tint, currently stickered up as business vehicle but graphics will be removed. ~220 000kms, runs well, not thrashed, owned since 140Ks and oil changed every 5K since then. Timing belt + w/pump done at ~198K. Comes with spare good turbo + turbo gasket kit(gen nissan, 3 gasket set) Currently unreg.(only recently ran out). $6500 with NSW roadworthy or $7000 registered. LOcated in Coffs Harbour..... Express any interest, needs to be sold in next 3 months. Approx $3500 owing on finance, so buyer would pay that direct to bank + remainder to me. Hey guys, Well, I've been looking at Stageas for a while (own a gts-t r32.... anyone interested, bit average, 6.5k) and found one cheap enough that looked good.... under 10k incl rego etc. Bit worried about pricing, but have 200 photos of it to put me at ease.... Dark blue s1 with books (bonus).... Looking at 3 months wait... is this normal? hopefully importer quoted over time but not counting on it! Can't wait to get it! Seems to be stock except for an earthing kit and possibly Dayz body kit..... Hope I got a good buy! Tim

I just bought a Dayz s1.... still have to wait a couple of months for it... Hoping it's reasonable, but not expecting the best for under 10k on the road. We'll see...

what is a quit exhaust or a quite exhaust.... ahhh you mean a quiet exhaust.

When I lived in Canberra, I used Trojan... Couldn't fault them, very clean workshop and always do little extras. Highly reccomend them.

Thanks guys. The main prob with waiting is that I need a car for work, and I need to sell my current 32 to but the stag... paying a couple of grand more is not a huge worry, as it's only a weeks work for me at the moment (which is why I'm buying a new car!) I guess I am kinda impatient, and I kinda worry about buying a car unseen from japan. At least if I buy off a dealer I can check it out before buying. If anyones got any horror stories about the yards mentioned so far, please PM me. Thanks

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone can recommend where to buy a Stag in Brissy or the gold coast? I live in Coffs and hate going to Sydney, so brissys the best option. I'm after a low ks s2 auto, close to stock, with a yard that can provide finance.... Still gotta sell my 32gtst first (shouldn't be hard, bit ratty but runs good, immobiliser, stereo, 18s, and I only want 6k for it....) so I'm not after anything for a few weeks at least. So, can anyone recommend any yards?

Hey all, as stated, need a set of CHEAP rims with legal rubber... 4 x 114.3, ie non turb line, s13 etc ASAP... located in Coffs Harbour....

32s bust all the time... I just got mine rewelded better than factory.... cost about $15

Exactly.... 32GTR is quicker. We've all seen the figures. Any other arguement - no proof, no arguement.

For the headlights.... start with a 300-400 wet and dry and work your way up to 2000 (using all grades wet).... then cutting compound, then silicon free polish. I do it all the time for work...

Mine used to do this too.... no workshops could figure it out, and it's now stopped of its own accord.... wierd, but prob nothing to worry about.

I do this at work, bit scary at first but it works.... If they're really bad, sandpaper first.... work your way up through the grades of wet and dry to 1500 or 2000.... then silicone free polish. Takes about an hour a pair, even on the worst condition lights.

kero does exactly the same thing for $2 instead of $13.... seriously, the nulon stuff is basically kero anyway... few extra things to change colour and smell...

R33HVN, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd be putting kerosene in the engine oil. not straight kero, bout 1 litre with the rest topped up with a cheap oil... DO NOT REV the engine when it's in! run for about 10-20 minutes, then empty and fill up with good oil... did this on my 31 and it sure didn't hurt it.... wouldn't put metho into it though!

Hope u realise the fine from the epa if caught on the street with no cat is in 10s of thousands of $$$.... jus checkin, u don't want a bill like that for a couple of kw
