  1. Oh noes. I've found actually getting a decent amount of sleep has seemed to keep me well for a couple of weeks so far. Those Melatonin suppliments do so much good. When are yours arriving?
  2. Much love.
  3. Nothing wrong with 70's either. 70's and 80's babies ftw '84 represent.
  4. Nothing wrong with 80's babies. Happy Birthday me for tomorrow lol
  5. I nearly did that the second last time I was this, hooked my elbow in the guard rail. Left a nice bruise.
  6. Oh I wasn't, it's all good.
  7. That was the method in my Skylines
  8. At one point I had three rego's and three comp. insurances. Man that was an expensive year.
  9. I haven't ever had a problem with him.
  10. Hill-air-ree-arse
  11. These are the kind of meets that were awesome. Feb 2006 Mega Cruise with Ozcruise. We had somewhere in the vicinity of 300 cars turn up. We cruised all day. Pettet came, was pleasant to everybody, even posed for photos. We ocassionally even had a police escort. No-one was stupid, no defects were handed out. Everyone enjoyed themselves. There were Commodores, there were Rotors, there were V8's, there were turbocharged 4's, there was new and there was old. Nothing like that will ever happen again.
  12. You're spot on. I just smile at everyone who complains about cop attention at meets, they made it this way! I think the last meet I tried to attend was a JDMST meet a couple of years back. Cops attended the last ones I went to and fair enough, I would to if I knew there was a high chance someone was going to do something stupid. Gone are the days of large meets where everyone just stood around and talked, chilled and appreciated eachothers cars.
  13. At the risk of sounding old, it just isn't like the good old days. I have no real interest in attending meets anymore as the current new driver generation has no clue how to act appropriately in a public place.
  14. There was some people sneaking down it, but it's still fenced off. Hopefully makes the steps a bit less busy!
  15. Does anyone know when the Lyrebird track steps are due to be finished?
  16. Bump with price drop to $320 ono. Sale is for tyres; wheels and hubcaps now included for free (I have discovered 1x wheel would require repair.)
  17. That's my old car I haven't owned that car for a year and a bit. Hopefully the dude who bought it off me is still treating her right, she gets spotted a fair bit. He lives in Frankston.
  18. My clear just came off with high pressure water the other day on one rim. To be expected with Rotas though lol
  19. This is your man, if he still does it: http://www.charleslin.com.au/
  20. I never stated how comfortably but there are 7 seats and 7 seatbelts. I do recall one hill foot flat to the floor and revving the tits out of it I managed 35kmp/h - I assume they never intended for it to carry 7 Australian-sized adult, 3 eskies, bags of ice, slabs of beer, etc to and from a festival. Never again do I offer to be taxi because I own the people mover lol
  21. Yeah it's awesome in it's own way, sooooo much space. My wheels scrape the guards with a full carload of 7 people though. I can't wait for something fun again.
  22. Nice! Cusco, TRD and Beatrush have lots of nice braces available. Whereabouts are you going in Japan? If you're in Tokyo visit Super Autobacs Tokyo Bay and head up to the bookshop. They should have plenty of 86 magazines
  23. And that's fair enough too! This is my first new car, it'll be daily driven and I wanted the comforts of a nicer interior, nicer exterior, bigger brakes, etc. For someone who is going to modify the shit out of it the GT would be a better base as it's mechanically the same (minus brakes.) My transmission choice also meant if I went for a GT I would've missed out on an LSD.
