  1. You have mistaken my stance on this. I don't agree with a lot of our laws and find them draconian. What I do applaud is the police decision to treat him like anyone else breaking the law.

    Dt Panels.

I don't think you've seen the Pulsar have you? I've never had any panel work/paint done to the Skyline. It's as I bought it.
  3. ^ agreed. And I for one am glad to hear he got treated like any of us would in the same situation.

    Dt Panels.

That's true. But my point to him was I that I never dictated the prices he charged me. I'd been going there for about 4 years. I'm not here to badmouth anyone. So no I will not be posting pictures or giving details, but anyone is welcome to look at my car in person and make up their own mind.
  5. Talk to me when your car is worth less than 1/5th of the money you've spent on it

Same boat. Everything I've ever had back has had something wrong with it. I've been told to f*ck off now so yeah... I need a new panel beater Don't ask me for details as I won't give them, I've learnt my lesson there before. Shame, I had considered Vu my friend and sent plenty of work his way.
  7. LOL Can we make a FWD class? It'd seriously be awesome. I'd have no chance against you though, so maybe not I don't reccommend taking in the scenery on the wangs, it can be an expensive holiday
  8. It's turbo But OMFG, well done to Marcus and Clive.
  9. Okay, so it's nearly done. There's a few very small things I am missing, please see if you can help: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wt...nd-t313577.html Gearbox is in the car, solid engine mounts and brackets all fitted well and installed, most of the front end is back in. The only small hiccups are that the cold-side cooler pipe to the throttle body might need slight modifications to clear the hydraulic slave cylinder on the gearbox. Otherwise everything fitted up just fine, I'm very surprised. Still to do - mount clutch pedal and drill holes in the firewall, and install the bits I'm chasing in the thread I've linked to.
  10. Hi All, I have an urgent requirement for the following (basically all that's holding my car up from being finished now): *RNN14 GTi-R Hydraulic Clutch hard hose (master cylinder to flex hose) *N16 Hydraulic Clutch flex hose (from hard hose to slave cylinder) *N15 Manual boot that sits under the gearstick and the plate that it mounts to *Clutch Master Cylinder Reservoir that has the ability to mount directly onto the master cylinder, not remotely Preference given to parts in VIC but happy to buy from interstate if need be. 18. I've seen that a few times in Ringwood.
  19. haha, all good. I was walking back to the car when I saw you. My other half who was sitting in the car goes "was that a GT-R"? So there you go, you got a compliment for the sound
  20. Small amount of progress. The hydraulic gear is mounted to the gearbox and the flywheel is machined. My workshop have been super busy so I haven't been putting them under pressure to finish it. At this stage I'd expect the car to be completed late next week all going well
  21. REDLNE passing Cold Rock in Boronia at about 7pm tonight.
  22. For cereal? I'd better look there then.
  23. That was my thought as well. $209 a good price for an 040?
