I was..... It appears you don't understand what happened..... the police blocked off both ends of the road and directed everyong through the carpark and checked thier cars - some were sent to Carrington RTA and others were issued defect notices for things like unenclosed pods, BOV, A pillar guages, exhaust etc..... I was waved through and told I didn't have to go into the carpark, so was my other half in his car behind me and a friend of ours behind him..... someone else I know who was with us had bald tyres, broken headlights and other stuff and was also let go with nothing - ALOT of cars were inspected but not all and ALOT of people were given verbal warnings - you make it sound like the police have a personal vendetta against you...? It was a typical rta/police defect station set-up. They do it regularly..... the hotspot on the coast for these 'random defect stations' is Terrigal but every dick and his dog in any sort of car who goes for a cruise to the coast - GOES TO TERRIGAL!!! Sounds to me like you are familiar with your local po po and maybe have a grudge..... Just my 2 cents

My apologies if I have offended any mods/execs/admin - I understand your job is not easy and is very time consuming. I do not accuse mods of doing nothing - you have prolly all done everything you can to try to stop it as you have said above Nick, but it appears to me that the people involved should have been banned (temporarily?) a long time ago and given some 'time out' - lets face it, if they want to act like children then they should be punished like children. Unfortunately it has continued regardless of mods actions showing total lack of respect for the club and its members which as a member, I find offensive. Maybe my age makes me less tolerant to this carry on.....??? and I agree totally about the lousy example and impression a newcomer might get seeing this sort of crap which is prolly why I felt the need to speak up when usually I would not get involved. I know you guys have the clubs best interests at heart and I appreciate it - most of us do - but it is disappointing and annoying to those of us (and I speak for the coasties, newcastle and hornsby threads) who ALL get along, are ALL friends and who ALL know how to behave. I hope those involved realise the magnitude of thier actions. I love this club and the friends I have made through it.

maybe there should be more mods specifically for this type of thing - it took Mikey starting a thread about it for someone to really take notice and do something (even if that something was drastic). I would happily volunteer..... I'm sure plenty of others would too.....

I think it is shameful that Mikey had to start this thread so someone would take notice and actually do something about it - if mods/admin/execs had put a stop to this a long time ago then the majority would not be getting punished for the actions of a handful. Personally Nick - I disagree that the whore threads are a "waste of space" - we have all made some great friends from these threads and altho there may be other more appropriate mediums like msn etc we can use to communicate - most of us like the "community" we have found on this site and choose to use SAU for that very reason. I am disappointed and angry that the minority's actions have had such a damaging and negative affect on a site that I personally love and hold in very high regard. I also commend Mikey on having the guts to speak up and say out loud what so many others have been been just sitting back and watching.

I'd like to know why people from places like the central coast, newcastle, south coast, hornsby etc are being punished for sh!t that goes on in other threads??? Nothing to do with us..... Hardly fair....
