  2. I think they were on drugs when they designed this peice of @#$@@!!!^&**!!! Seriously, these designers get paid millions to design that???? I could draw up a better looking car than that with my left foot!!!!
  3. Mate!! all these people telling you turbo's overheat, and blowup and arent reliable etc. dont know how to treat a car!!! My R31 skyline was a bolt on turbo setup with nice size cooler, 10psi making 165rwkw, I tuned it backin 2003 I think and it did not miss a beat for a good 5 years untill I sold it!!!! I drove that car in 40 degree heat with a full car load goin for cruises, to the beach etc. 40 mins drives at a time. - it did not overheat! - it did not blow up - it was very relible!! do your service every 5000k's, make sure your cooling system is working correctly and you shouldn't have any problems at all.... If you do donuts for 10 or so mins straight..... any engine will overheat!!!!
  4. BTW, its most people. As a rule people think they are above average. True that... if you think your fast... prove it on a go-kart track. Even better yet... buy a fast one and see how many corners you last. On the street... the occasional squirt to the speed limit doesnt hurt.... I dont speed... just get to the speed limit pretty quickly.... coming onto the freeways it best!!
  5. I would say check your piping for an air leak/loose piping aroud the air flow meter..... is the afm positioned on the cooler piping or on your intake?? I had a similar problem with my R31 back in the day..... turned out to be an air leak.... when you put your foot down theres alot of air rushing through.... so even if your pipes are loose the afm will register some sort of air flow. on idle - there isnt much air rushing through so if the air is escaping somewhere through the piping before it gets to you afm (thus not enough air for the afm to register) your engine will stall...... just another thing to check.... good luck with solving it

I always hear that its approx 30% loss to the wheels (pretty much same as quoted above) I also always hear that 4wd looses more power from flywheel to the wheels than what rwd cars do, GTR's get better readings on dynos (compared to other 4wd cars) coz they aren't full time 4wd thus less power loss. I have no evidence to back this, just my 2c worth of what i've heard on a few occasions.......

  9. Man that looks mint!!!!!!!!!! can you use the existing wiring for the those or is there anything you need to replace/add....??? I asked about this ages ago... and the examples i was shown were masive gauge's sticking out of the factory cover that you've put them inside on!!!!!!! I like very much.... think i might invest!!!!!!

I had a splattering problem between 4-5500 rpm (im mean really bad) im told it's the platinum spark plugs the dude put in it I bought it off..... so I just put some NGK's in there now.... and now my coil packs are playing up!!!! that friggin S**k's!!! do the coil pack's really die that easy?? its only just clocked over 60,000k's.......

Hi all, I would like to know what the issue is when the "slip" and "TRC off" lights on the dash stay on?? and sometimes the orange light on the right hand side comes on also (dont know if it indicates engine or transmission) there were never any issues with the way the car ran when the slip and TRCoff ligths came on - but ever since i got my spark plugs changed, on the second day of driving the car started running on 5 cyl. - I havn't had time to take the car back to mechanics. the next day i start it up its running on 6 cyl. again with the warning lights all on (slip, TRCoff, engine/transmission lights) then the ABS light also came on.....??? at this stage i was like WTF????????????????? so i tested the brakes/ABS and ABS kicked in ok - then, all the warning lights turned off and car was running fine......???? to me its sounding like something is loose, a sensor or something..... all the above still happens intermitantly...??? anyone have any suggestions on what to check....or had similar issue????
  12. one thing is for sure.... you will get heaps more economy out of an s15 im lucky to get 400k's out of my 34 driving like a granny..... I went through the same decision one year ago and fell inlove with my Sedan r34 when i saw it.... personally, im CBF'd with 2 doors..... I prefer the look of the R34. Absolutely love the tone of an RB engine (especially on limiters!! ) I have Tien's in mine and it handles like a dream, good stock power too i think. So I say unless you want about 150ks more out of your tank... go for the 34!!!

If anyone knows which one, if its still out so i can buy it, or if anyone has it and can scan it and pop it on here somehow i'd really appreciate it.... cheers!!

Hi all, I want to get an after market boost gauge for my car but i dont want to mount it anywhere on the dash nor the pillar..... so i was wondering if it is possible to take out the factory boost gauge and put an after market one in there..?? anyone done this?? i'd love to see some pics.......   23. If anyone has an idea its Rob from CREATD!! Dean was simply askin for a few opinions, CREATD probably hadn't got back to him after they completely looked into it for him. CREATD tuned my Aussie Skyline R31 in back in 2003 (i think), was an NA motor, only bolt-on mods(turbo, cooler, etc), had approx 230,000k's on the clock from memory at the time, made 165rwkw on 10psi (safely) i only just sold the car a few weeks ago. Since the tune the car did not miss a beat!!! new owner put it on the dyno, still made 164rwkw on 10psi 4 years after the tune and the engine now has approx 300,000k's on the clock!!!
  24. - He was talking about looks, not power. - Even though he has a NA skyline, he can go sidways (and you dont need big power and dont need to go fast to get a little sideways), WRX cant = less fun IMO. - to have fun in a WRX and feel their real handling capability - you need a race track..... how many people have their CAMS licence?? not many, and to go fast on the streets, not exactly the best idea. Everyone has their own views and opinions which is fair enough (I still love r31's), i just thought i'd put in my 2c worth. :sorcerer: back on topic - in my opinion, the nicest WRX's were the first ones, and the 2006 model, the new one about to come out, i dont like.

I got done in my own drive way dude!!!!! driving home from the gym, i didnt even see them, i get outa my car at home and i see a cop in my driveway... get this..... im dripping sweat, i have a towel and a bottle of water in my hand, and they still gave me a breath test. As if you'd knock down 6 beers after the gym???? they reckon it was a random check, didnt mention anything else...... a week later.... EPA notice in the mail...... ohh and im in vic by the way.....
