just had a thought, as for gm not having dohc, look at caddy northstar dohc v8's from the v-series. if it can take a heavy cadillac to 100kph in under 5 sec it cant be that bad!

i would say there very underrated, mums magna is a great car nothing fallen off or anything although the fact that its fwd makes it a bitch to turn at low speeds. not much wheel lock, long wheelbase, nose heavy, etc. although when dad got his commodore he said it handled better than his astra... see what happends when theres no drive in the front wheels, even a long wheelbase can handle better than a small astra. i want an evo 8 fq400 (aka f**king quick 400hp) from the uk... just over 300kw mmmmmmmm or get a normal evo 8, convert to rwd, put an rb26dett in and mod it up. well they can fit a vh41de in a 3 series e36 beemer and make it a front midship. ralliart evo 9 was comfortable as hell when i sat in the one at perth motor show 06. it seats were really buckety yet still comfy and recaro (have to do something about the leather tho - eww). my point is its perfect for my height/size. had to put the seat back a bit but yeah. everything like guages etc was in good view too.
