Yep, ill be putting my details up soon for direct deposit into my account, otherwise im happy for people to pop in and see me at work, or I may even come to vilis tommorow night if people want to hand over some money there? Anyway, went and saw the 2nd final proof this morning, looks good! 1 thing im not sure of though - the front cover. I used an image from the photo shoot i did a year or so ago. It has all models in it, from Benny blancos DR to petes 34GTR, with 31, 32 and 33's in the background, looks pretty cool. Down the bottom says 2009 calendar and up the top in the centre is the SAU logo - the S over the AU, as shown in the top corner of the sau website. I didnt know if to include the SAU website or just leave it as the logo? Cos on the URL will be on the back.. Personally I think it looks ok, as the front wont really be seen much and i didnt want to go into too much detail on it anyway, but it hasnt been submitted for print just yet, until i email her back with the go ahead on monday..

so, some details for everyone! Calendars are $24 each. For $20 I couldve got them with just 1 pic on each page, so im sure we wont all mind paying an extra $4 for 3 smaller pics the bottom of the date page. Ive tried to keep the cost down as much as possible, but i think $24 for a calendar is pretty reasonable? I am going back to see the designer again tommorow to finalise it all and start the printing process.

haha the plasma over LCD debate will never end! Everyone has their favourite.. and each of them has their advantages. The pro's and con's of both are about the same. I have a full HD LCD and i love it. But some of the plasmas out now, well they are awesome. The series 9 Samsung and the new bravias well they are even better. LCD with LED backlighting.. brighter, clearer colours.. just wow. But wow at the retail value too $5000 for around a 42 inch. But well worth it. Ive been to many a training sessions and hear the plasma vs lcd debate over and over. Go with what YOU want, cos in the end, theyre all doing the same thing anyway..

Craig go for an LCD. From my experience selling them, LCD's are better, better for gaming too. The image burn issue has been technically fixed up but still can happen occasionally.. Do you want FULL HD? or just happy with HD? I can do u a 40 LG LCD for less than $1300 probly Its not Full HD but its still pretty good. We got 1 left as of this arvo when i left work. aww my little bro rocks! He found the car for me AND talked it down in price by $200. He is 3.5 years younger than me but acts like an older brother. agree with those that said to get a KE of some sort or your good old 31! Then budget for tow/trailor, entry, get some 2nd hand tyres.. Ive just picked myself up a KE35 for $300 and will doing a few basic mods (welded diff, stiffer springs) and taking it out to drift prac next early next year! Eventually tho id love to go to something like an S13.. but all depends how I go.

Yeah you should go! Luke and I went last year, met up with few of the SAU members who were half way gone by then.. the ciders are way too easy to drink. what dates it on? I gotta book that weekend off work in advance!

Tom Howards carwash/detailing for the win!! Corner Marion Rd/Sir Don bradman road. They have a paint protection process called Teflon Coating - 6 Applications - 1 application every 6 months.. Lengthy process I guess but well worth it. Protects from Fade, dust scratches etc. Awesome for dark cars especially, makes the paint smooth as. They do norman cleaning, detailing etc too.

As for Orders, I was planning on ordering more than what people have said so far, as when theyre released Im sure people will ask for one.. I kinda had to give the printers a rough idea of how many I needed to begin with, to get a quote, but ill be able to order more if need be, as it will be saved on their system
