Agree with Rad here, dont buy an LG! Had way too many issues with them at work.. They are good for smaller/basic Tv's but if you want a decent larger one.. go samsung or Sony. Spend the extra 2 or 3 hundred and buy something decent. I have a samsung 40" LCD and im more than happy with it. At Harveys we mainly sell samsung anyway. If Rad cant help ya, ill suss out what i got in stock

spotted a pink 33 on south road bout 5:30-6ish

had a couple of Pm's regarding the pricing, dont worry guys, im exaggerating when i say $30 as thats like the max, but rest assured you are lookin at like $20 - $24 easy - since im ordering a fair decent amount makes it even better. Also when I go see them next thursday and finalise it all, should only be 1-2 weeks getting them produced. I thought it would take alot longer honestly.

Lee the calendars will be no more than $30, bout the average price of a calendar you would get from any other shop. Im thinking they will be more around the $20-$25 mark, going from what theyve told me both times ive been in there.

haha nah you cant know yet whos photos made it to the main pages Thats a secret The quote may take a few days to come through, im surprised and quiet happy though, as the setup fee rough quote was alot less than I expected! And alot less than some other places told me. Will know by early next week I reckon, what the price on each calendar will be.

ok guys! Been and seen the printers. All main photos are picked out, the ones that look best enlarged.. everyone that sent me a photo will more than likely be included, even if its just a small one. Some that were sent from a mobile phone camera, are hard to duplicate and print.. but will see what they can do. The calender will be A4 size. 1 big pic and as ive said many a time, smaller ones below the dates.. Saw a sample and gonna look pretty good I think. They are doing up a draft and im waiting on a final quote and I go back next thursday.. so I have until then to design the front cover!

Vu, Like Luke said thats very close to the plan - the photos will be underneath the last row of days/dates. ALtho, it all depends on setup cost and how much it will make each calendar cost. Thats the next the next thing I need to know, how many to order.. Once its setup, ill need numbers for how many to order.. I will need people (after friday when I know the cost) to let me know if they want one - REGARDLESS of if their car may be in it or not. I Wont be able to show you guys a draft of it, as that stays with the printers, so I need people to be understanding and patient, but also let me know if they want one. Alot of people ahve already said they would take one regardless. So after friday, ill be making a list of all the people wanting one, so if u can let me and ill add u to the list.. Thanks, Flick

Nope, still a 2 page per month (1 page pic, 1 page date). They have a template for both that and A4, so going to see which works best Hell yeh still Keen! troy, thanks for that Info. The printers didnt say much to me.. but im sure i wrote somewhere no photos taken from a phone, purely for that reason. They may be ok for small photos but not the main page. All good. Still ahve till thursday night to get me photos, plenty of time!! Never done anything like this, and still new to photography, im still learning. Like ive said before, ill use the best photos im given as the main ones.. All the ones ive been given so far are JPG, so thats a good start people, take troy up on his offer for photos if you can, would make perfect shots for the main pages!!

^Troy, Ill have a browse through the link tonite after work. As for size, well i dont know exactly, but obviously the bigger the better, so full res if possible, thats all I know. I dont know what the print device is, or what programme they use, I wont know until friday. I just have to take the photos to them, sit down with them and design the calender with them.

^ that would cost alot more.. more colour, more ink, more design time needed.. Im footing the setup fee out of my pocket, dont mind at all, cos im excited about doing this, but the more set up time/design time needed, the larger the fee.. Modifying the main page photo to fit 2 photos would also warp the photos a little. Basic is better and more effective anyway, 1 main page photo and 3 or 4 smaller ones on the date page below it. Trust me, seen it done by the 31 club and it looks good and organized and very effective. I know what you mean though jonny. Im trying to be fair.. The photos for the main pages will be the ones that are best quality and look good at a decent size. Im saving everyones photos to a file marked with their names on it, so I will try and include every car submitted, even if its just in a smaller photo. People are just gonna have to be understanding and not get angry if they arent a main photo.. I cant please everyone, but im gonna do what I can. The small photos wont be TOOOO small, they will still be decent pics of the cars! Some people havent submitted photos but have given me permission to use ones of theirs I already have aswell.
