i think i saw this website mentioned on here by some one so i checked it out. they seem to have very good prices. in one instance its almost 200 bux less than the manufacturer's reccommended. seems too good to be true. is there a catch? maybe they have units intended for other countries (and associated radio freqs?) they have listings for both the poineer DEH-P5850MP and the DEH-P5850MPH. i googled the 2nd one and its listed under pioneer's singapore site but not the aussie one. its also $60 bux more. whats the go? another thing. if you have had bad experiences please pm me the details instead of posting the whole thing in here. we can keep the mods happy that way i think thanks guys

insu...mate...just wow. i had no idea just how much it was hunting until i did the d.i.y. got it sitting at around 900-950rpm and went for a drive. its so smooth and theres no vibration anymore. it revs cleaner too. is that meant to change? i dunno if its just me but it seems like its almost fixed a flat spot that i had at bout 2500rpm. either way im happy. only one issue though. my ecu doesnt seem to have an adjustment screw. the car is a s1 r33 built in May '95. is it possible i have the s2 ecu? is the s2 ecu different to the s1? coz i looked at the back of the unit, and while it has similar holes to the one in the picture posted earlier it doesnt have a screw. i took off the transparent plastic film thing and had a good look around with a torch. no screw. what gives? again dude thanks for the write up. it works and works well. its given me some more confidence in doing stuff to my car myself.

oh damn is that what that does? i have been wondering ever since i got the car. i thought it was some kinda superboost mode thing like in men in black. bin too afraid to touch it so far...dont have any convienient tunnels that i can drive on the ceiling of around my area.

hey guys. just wondering something. being an all or nothing kinda guy , i usually have my windows either fully up or fully down. now i noticed in the r33, the driver side window controls both windows. however only the driver's window is fully automated (ie. u press it and it winds down fully). now being lazy i find it a pain to have to hold down the passenger window button when driving, especially when eating at the same time or otherwise occupied. soo to get to the point, is it possible to swap the passenger control switch with a drivers type one and have both auto or is it more complicated than that.

+1 for ssv. these guys are exrtemely helpful. they put up with my indecisiveness for a month or two and when they couldnt find what i was looking for in aus they extended the search to japan. needless to say they were sucessful, coz im riding around in the car they imported for me. and i very happy with it. i dunno the exact address of the place but they are on the corner of princess highway and huntingdale rd. opposite the nissan dealership

hey guys i have r33 s1 gtst auto and up till now i have been happy with its performance and its been running quite smoothly. but recently i have noticed that when im stopped at the lights or the car is in park, the tacho needle moves up and down ever so slightly and sometimes the car gives a gentle shudder. its like the vibrations build up to a point and then fade. right now its very mild and i can just feel it. but its strong enough to show clearly when i look in my mirrors. and another thing, which may or may not be unrelated, today i heard a fast ticking noise coming from under the hood. opened it up and it seems to be coming from what i think is the fuel rail from mainly one of the mushroom looking things (injectors??) attatched to it. is this a major problem? this is my first car and i am almost completely clueless as to what could be the problem. so please help out if you can. thanks niroj

man im really fumed. ive had my car back for barely a few weeks and already its bin damaged. i cant belive the stupidity of the guy. happened in a car park, fairly busy, end of the day, etc etc. just got food for me and my bro so i was on the way home. so just following like 3 other cars down the main lane of the park. just b4 theexit i c a 4wd waiting to turn into our lane out of one of the aisles. think 2 myself, its all good, i have right of way and then as i pass i see him move out of the corner of my eye. b4 i have time say wtf, f*ken BANG! right into my drivers door. look up and the idiot is sitting there wit a stupid 'apologetic' grin on his face. got out and hes scratched and dented my door all to shit while his bumper has nothing more than my paint on it. his excuse? "i didnt see u, just wasnt paying attention". bullshit! you saw the other cars in front of me u had to have seen me. moron. i was able to restrain myself though and kept these thoughts to myself, acted civil, got his details and gtfo of there. on the way home though was just cruisin along in the slow lane trying not to drive stupid (which i tend to do when pissed). glance in the mirror and its completely filled wit another monkey in a 4wd. the right lane is free but this fool decides to sit right on my ass for a couple of kays. just as we're reaching a set of lights he then decides he wants to be in front. so he switches lanes, guns it, and switches back right in front of me. had to brake hard and switch or risk more damage. i am so sick of this shit!! /rant.....woosah basti, woosah. pics soon. just needed to let it out.

dude the only time my indicators ever flashed fast was when i introduced it to a safety barrier at speed. and then it was only the damaged side that did it. oddly it affected the rear one too although it wasnt damaged

thanks ctjet. i checked them out and they are indeed very sexy. anyhoo i got tired of waitin and decided to give it a shot myself and do a couple of chops. prob is i only have ms paint and only took bout 20 mins to do both. therefore they look horrible (imo) here they r: i prefer the velvets to the apaches from this but i rekon a better chop help me decide.
