Yeah ive searched and i did what it said still no good. intake manifold bov----t piece<boost controller-------actuator thats how i ran it sorry for the dodgy discription. any thing ive doen wrong? -
Not sure how the bleed valve my mate got works. Its a monsta/monza something along those lines. The actual controller has two ports one above each other, no sticker nothing at all and no dirrection of flow, Both of the port ar the same diameter hole. it also came with a t piece air can be pushed threw the top and the left so i presume there is a spring and a ball bearing making it a one way valve on the right hand side. Now i tried installing it like i did for mine on my mates r33 gtst and i got zero result. So yeah if any one has used one could you give me some indicaion of flow or even just explain how you installed yours to get me going

Hey a mate accidently scraped the front drivers side of his r33 gtst and needs a bonnet, head light, front gaurd and front bar. Any one got any of the mentioned parts cheers

After much contemplation ive decided to give up on the rb30det as ive become a first year aprentice and the pay ****ing sucks major ass and ill never get it finished at this rate so ive decided to sell it to some one who will I originally brought the head and that was it i havent done a thing to any thing so its still a original head. It comes with rb25 head, cams, covers, coil packs, injecotrs, fuel rail, standard plenum, standard exaughst manifold, loom all the standard **** on the head. also chucking in a rb30e bottomn end that i started to rebuild but never got any further then stripping it has all the components off it like water, oil pump, crank, craddle, tensioner, rods and what not, Ive also got ristrictors for the head which ive not put in yet some where which i turned up myself 1.5mm hole after 850 for the lot Ill take some pics tommorow Cheers Kris

i was under the impression that the z32 afm didnt flow any better then the original afm from a r33????

It sadens me to see that most of the people can do the right thing and theres allways those few c**ts that tend to ruin it for every one else i got ripped off a little while ago from calais turbo so i know how you feel to some extent And cubes the licence idea is great, but images are so easy to forge these days unfortunatly Good luck with this shit though

Ive decided to go on with turning them up on the lathe later tonight. Now to the part where ive confused the f**k out of myself with, Ive gone over the post by sydneykid earlier this year "On the circuit race cars we take a 5 step approach in controlling the amount of oil that is trapped in the cylinder head and/or blown into the catch can; 1.Block off one oil feed in the block (RB26’s have this standard) 2.Fit an appropriately sized restrictor to the other feed. The size of the oil pump is one of the determinates for the size of the restrictor, ie; a high flow, high pressure pump needs a smaller restrictor. Constant higher RPM needs a smaller restrictor etc. 3. Fit an external oil return from the rear of the cylinder head to the sump 4. Drill out the oil return galleries in the head and block 5. Machine around the oil return galleries to facilitate access for the oil " any one care to ellaberate, because ive become complently blank much apreciated Kris

Yeah i was contemplating turning it down out of some ally but i didnt know the fit needed weither it had to be a fair press fit or just a nice snug fit. The 3-4 weeks wait didnt bother me because ive still got to get alot of parts and build alot of things, so ive got all the time in the world

Hey people Did a bit a research and confused the f**k out of myself Im in the prosses of building the 30det, ive got most of the parts and in the prosse4s of rebuilding the 30 bottomn end. With the oil restrictors im unsure of the sizes to use 1.5?? and where can i get them from. Every where i look has become NLA :S Any know of a store either online or in melb that stocks the tomei restrictors???
