  1. Drove my ceffy up to winton today to watch drift atack, found out my spedo is 10k's out no drama but had a funny feeling its to free reving. I was doing 110 just under 4000rpm in 5th gear? Im pressuming that because my car had a manual conversion in japan they probably keep the stock auto diff but would that acount for that high? What are you guys sitting on at 100 or 110k
  2. You can buy the din pockets at jb hi fi Im not sure but id presume all nissan cars have the same craddle brackets so maybe go down to a self serve wreckers and have a look.
  3. Nice Plenum man As for washing with a high pressure hose or something my mate didnt use common sense and poped his igniter. ive also been told you can ware out the loom casing after a while of high pressure rinsing, cant confirm that though. I use both, high pressure for like the chasis and clean off the rest with a rag and degreasor

  11. Clutch blew the other week, shitted itself in japan and poped when it got over here. Replaced the clutch and got the fly wheel machined all good. Now the clutch i brought was wrong i brought a 32 clutch which was 10 mm bigger, i was under the asumption cefiros had 32 flywheels but mine has a 31gtsr fly wheel. Did some come out like this or was some one playing funny buggers in japan?
  12. Yeah i figured that wasnt a wounder kit, im gonna email him and find out anything if i can as for the work shop x kit im gonna search around and see what i can find
  13. i did search and again all i came up with was URAS kits or URAS look-alikes found this on carsales and the guy says its a wonder kit, is this the new style of wonder kit u speak of? if so where can i get this, this i like I found this one on trademe.co.nz and i also like this, i know where to get these but there are 2 problems -they havnt been made yet for public sale -there in NZ and im a bit iffy about shipping fibreglass from there to Aus
  14. Im looking for a a31 kit before i get a respray and repairs done. Done a fair bit of searching basicly all i can find are uras or "uras looking kits" which im not a fan of. Ive seen a few rocking the modified autech front bar which i like cant seem to find though :S And ive seen a a31 for sale on car sales which said had a wounder kit. The kit i saw itself reminded me of a r31house front bar which i do like, but i did a fair bit of searching and all the wounder kits i could find had the exact same "fatness" as a uras kit? Any one got any idea where i could start to look for one? Or any other kit that doesnt look like a uras Thanks Kris
  15. If u have an undersized box, u wont damage the sub, u will just be very dissapointed in its performance. the only way to make alot of noise with a sub is by pushing air, box too small, not enough air...u do the math if u have the issue of not enough space then u can invert the sub (magnet facing outward) to increase the inner capacity of the box therefore making the inner volume larger because the sub and magnet arent taking up space inside.
  16. Mate had the smae problem on a rb30et, he plumed his lines the wrong to the vents and was compressing the head or some shit
  17. I put a set of HA's in my mates mitsubishi vr4 and he loves them, reckons they were the best 700 bucks he ever spent. But as stated sometime coi over can be a little harsh on the road, i had g4's in my r31 and loved them but reall stiff springs so occasionally i'd second guess driving it. Now i got JIC's in me cefiro and there not to bad just get to know your route to work and home a little better
  18. My old ladys old ae82 had retreads all its life, mind you the car was a piece of shit that wouldnt die minus the fact that if you could get to 100 in it you had a down hill and a long stretch of road.
  19. Scared to find out what a wreckers would sell them for, but i will....
  20. Just got myself a stocker imported well almost completly stock, Came with jic all round,3" zorst, cuscu sturt brace and had been converted to manual i pressume because of the dash and the cruise controll switches, Engines a standard rb20det and shes a nice responsive handeling car i was really impressed didnt expect that much from it
