  1. anyone got a rough idea on how much it would cost to build a rb30 that will rev to 8000-8500rpm safely? sounds interesting though i was keen on a tomei 2.8 stroker b4
  2. autoworx is prolly perths best import dealer great range great prices and good warranty!
  3. as above lambari plus the chick workin there is hot! best of luck with ur car!
  4. autoworx and imports101 are the only ones that offer a gaurentee but id say the 34 gtr @ autoworx looks mint and the price is fabulous for a dealer (has been sitting there for months now though)
  5. The link for the 6 piston rear brake on your site seems to be down any package/discount price if both bought together?
  6. i thought all 2jz had the same bottom ends
  7. im sure most if not all pannel beaters can do it chop it, re-weld it, anti rust it, spray it TA DA! but most of them wont give u any warranty (except dmg control @ maddinton outta all the ones that quoted me yoinks ago for my celica)
  8. not unless his hell north but since im NoR in headin up lol
  9. its only been a month trying to sell, be patient unless your willing to let it go dirt cheap like 10k took 2 months to sell my 33 and 3 months to sell my 32 1 month and my supra is still for sale its a buyers market and s13/180/r32/r33 prices have dropped significatnly this year gl bud!
  10. thats RWHP not rwkw, i was shocked @ reading 324rwkw aka 420rwhp by 3100rpm (thats nutz) most places would do it for about a grand give or take 1 or 2 hundred depending on brand also etc but yeh most places that alpinestars mentioned are fairly well known (did briffa engineering do your exhaust?)
  11. it should look alright pending colour of your car go with the whole drift look thingy might be nice!
  12. got some photos mate? stock turbos or upgraded? when was the car imported? Cheers
  13. well when i imported my 32 i budgeted 12k but by the time i fixed everything and running sweet id already spent close to 20k id lost interest in the car by then and just sold it off cheaply, could of saved myself alot of heartache and got a nice R33 from autoworx/dealer for that price (no i dont work for autoworx)
  14. i wouldnt import ever again, you cant inspect the car and heaps of things were stolen/missing/broken when they arrive (no broker offers money back gaurentee, autoworx does excludin gearbox, engine and diff at least you know you wont get a accident repaired shell that cant be complianced) you'd be better off paying the extra 5k mark up to dealers and get a perfect example from autoworx and you get warranty for 3 years
  15. heard about a few people praisin Kermit Engineerin on SilviaWA seems like a good fabricator
  16. id recommend keeping it tidy and stock save up the mod money 5k+ and get a R32 or R33 in the future, much more power to extract and aftermarket mods, means off the shelf items and not custom items which cost alot more (also looks alot more modern) dont mod a car unless u plan to keep it for a longggggggg time i put close to 20k into my 32 and i got less then half back, in a period of 6 months should of bought land or house as it would of made me damn money neways back on track, a slow auto to get you throw your Ps isnt to bad as 1 i dont wanna see you dead and 2 dun wanna see a wrecked nice car i started off with a hyundai accent and thats slow........ (got me around from A to B) then came a 33 n 32, how fun is boost? very addictive for the 1st month, single turbo is more economical then twin, more aint always better now ima stfu coz this is getting long GL with it !
  17. how are the D2/G4/K-sport brakes then? do they warp or defect quickly? theres not really that much to a brake and the sound of a 330mm disc and 8 pot caliper should shave speedy quickly
  18. piping + intercooler for $450 is way to much? prolly cheapest retailer in WA, just jap has the Pro Cooling thingy for $345 + $40 shippin, a fair bit cheaper but still excellent pricing whats the difference between the factory setup and between the rad and engine to the cooler?
  19. Id say J-shop would be cheapest option to fit it for a workshop $220-250 i think i was last quoted they also supply 600x300x75 intercooler and piping kits for $450
  20. well a rb30 rebuild would cost a lil more then the rb25 rebuild by the time u fit it and have new oils lines and random things done but think of the torque !!!!! also if u just get another rb25 and use rest of your money on perforamnce parts like turbo, ecu, fuel pump, clutch, etc u can achieve 300rwhp faily ez and safely on a rb25 stock internalz
  21. what exactly are you trying to do? just replacing the engine with a fresher one? half cuts in perth would be $3500-4000 thats engine, gearbox, wirin loom, turbo, manifold the lot i think hyperdrive charges around 1k to replace an engine (dun quote me on this, it was a while ago) rebuild with forgies would set you back 5-12k depending on parts but if you only need your engine for daily drivin and mild mods a replacement is good enuff, if ur chasin big power get a rebuild or go for a rb25/30 rebuild (2-3k ontop of the rb25 rebuild)
