hey guys, just recently i purchased a second hand motor from japan and have some parts that i did not use. motor came out of a r33 the parts that i did not use are power stering pump $50 air conditioner pump $50 alternator $60 Also I have a complete rb25det S2 with a auto still attached to it. Compression is down on number 3 was around 100 psi. A leak down test was done and showed that the head was still ok. ( this motor had done 103 K before it was pulled out) I have a stock turbo with it also.(this turbo came with the other motor that i got from japan so i have never used it) I would like to sell the motor complete as i really do not want to have parts laying around in the shed. ($500 or OBO). Regards Rob

I have beem looking at getting a tune for a while now and have been looking at what you are able to do. the car is r33 s2 manual mods to the car are FMIC Splitfire coils Hyflowed turbo (hypergear) Turbo back exhaust (xforce 3") Bosch fuel pump (040 internal) Turbo smart boost tee AFM std injectors std I do have a a Q45 AFM that is not being used at the moment if needed for a better tune. how much for a remap to suit these mods with freight. After some small parts. The first is the plastic trim pieces that go around the inside door handles x2, Also the plastic covers that cover the bolts for the front seats left hand side ones. The last piece is a impul,mines etc ecu. The car is a r33 S2 manual If anyone can help out with these i would ge very greatful.

Have you thought of a r33 4door. Here a a couple of pics of what i drive. Done the same as you. I have 2 kids and have been able to get by. The car has had the usual mods and seems to fly under the radar.

I have just done a auto to manual coversion on my car and i am still using the auto ecu. i do have a spare ecu laying around and was wanting to now what it was (auto, manual, s1,s2) the car i a r33 s2 the numbers on the spare ecu are 23710 21V60 MEC-R620 A2 5606 if anyone can help me with this it would be much appreciated.

just got a hold of a apexi safc (Square one with the blue face). What i was after is the power cable that plugs up to it. It is a 10 wire connector that it has on it. If anyone has a spare cable out there or knows were i can get one that would help me out.

hey I have just found out that my engine has lost compression on most of the cylinders. the car is a r33 s2 (4door Auto) What I was wanting to do was to get a r33 s2 manual and change all of it over at the same time. If not a complete car maybe some names of some good places to get a half cut some were in the melbourne area.

The car that I have is a r33 GTST s2 (4door Auto). The motor in it has finally given up. And now I have to replace it. What I was going to do was to get a R33 S2 manual half cut and put it in. What am after is some recomendations on where I can get a good half cut from in the Melbourne area. And what I will need to do to convert the car from Auto to Manual transmission. I have looked at rebiliding the motor in it but the main reason why I have decided to go for a half cut is a time issue. All the engine rebuilders that I have talked to are unable to have the motor finished before the end of the year.

i had the same problem with mine. it turns out it was a pin hole in a silicon hose on the fmic. this took a lot of time to find. And it only did it when it was above 12 psi,best way to find a vacumm leak is to spray some soap water on all the joins and see if it bubbles.

I had the same problem with my rb25det, call the thread guy. It will save you lots of time and money.
