  6. blah blah blah blah blah... SEE ABOVE.. I won't waste time writing any more..as a matter of fact I don't know why I wrote at all but if you do contested it and get off let me know.. Ill write a letter to contest my epa notice for littering stating it was my first time, then write a letter to the court telling them it was my first time I got caught doing 130 in a 70 zone, and then to top it off I'll write one to the lovely undercover officer that fined me for drinking in a public place the other night and see if I can get off too but naa seriously if you were in the wrong why contest it..of all the fines I've had and I can say i've had a few the only one I have ever contested if the speeding one mentioned above because I believe the officers were wrong..and its cost me 3k to date but ill fight it out of principal.. you were in the wrong pay up...its $150 thats like a days wage or one less tank of fuel for the week...or maybe your brother who was stupid enough to let you be a passanger without a seatbelt on should pay it.. I know everyone talks about taking responsibility for yourself..but just like i take responibility and dont do stupid shit with passangers in the car, I also feel I have a duty of care when using my vehicle to ensure all occupants are protected as best as possible..which includes ensuring seatbels are on before I drive anywhere..whether the passanger is 5 or 55..

    Defected =/

    if he has ticked major defect on your form that what it is..my mate got done for basically the same..in my old car.. pettit got him and whilst the tyre had heaps of tread there was a small crack in the side wall..pettit defected him with a mjor and now it has to be cleared..its there choice judging by the looks of the vehicle whether to minor or major the rwc..if he decides oh its a hotted up jap car im sure somethin else will be unroadworthy then thats what you get a a requirement for roadworthy..but basically if he ticks roadworthy certificate required thats what you need its not a matter of showing the cop looks I have a new tyre..if your lucky and your mechanic is a lil like mine (i wont name him) he will look at what is on the defect if that has been fixed then Ill get a rwc no matter any other problems.. good news is i've heard on the grape vine from a mate who works in TOG that pettit has or will be getting made (forceably) to retire soon or shall be transferred to a different post..it is well known in law enforcement circles that he is not well liked by his peers and is quite the trouble maker..i've also heard he has cost the police department thousands of dollars in legal actions etc... i.e the case where the guys car was engineered pettit said that he wouldnt accept the engineers certificate the car was put off the road cause the guy refused to get the car engineered a second time just cause of a lousy cop, the guy then sued the police for loss of earnings cause he couldnt drive his legally registered car to work...
  12. umm i'd also say any movie with Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan in it...
  13. Got my Sensation White tickets today Well 5 tickets as a matter of fact..The old credit card got a workout but hopefully i've got good mates who will pay me back in no time... if not does anyone have a chainsaw and a meat mincer???? and a few litres of bleach??
  14. well i got done 70 over the limti still waiting on court..but its looks like 12-18months with no license and a hefty fine... my mistake for rushing to a car accident..i knwo speeding is speeding but was a bit dissapointed with the cops attitude...
  15. thanks guys I will defintely be chasing it up..Im nto gonna be paying them thats for sure..wel not at this stage anyways...
  16. not a bad Idea ruffles might get my old man onto that one lol he loves ringing 3AW lol....my idea of talk back radio is Pillowtalk on Mix lol..so dont think i'd get far there
  17. All letters I have received are from RACV and I rang the claims officer he is sending me out a form I have to fill in and as well has asked me to send another letter detailing the incident i think this muct be about the fourth one lol..i guess ill just wait for the form and see how we go.. I was just curious as to whether this had happened to anyone beofre or if anyone knew how the insurance companies work.. oh and when I called the RACV the accident guy I spoke to said he travelled the particular road where the accident occured everyday and believes I was not at fault yet he had been over ruled by management.. when I asked to speak to management I was told that was not possible and the form would be sent out... that is the other significant thing I dont want to lose my no claims, i just brought a new car and it is already more to insure than my old.. had I have known this was goin to happen in the first place I would have persued the other driver and his insurance company more thouroughly but I didnt think it was worth the time and money at that stage for a car worth less than 10k. I was happy to accept 50/50 balme since it was my word against his and no clear fault could be found...

  19. Just to add I just looked through my product disclosure statement nowhere even in the fine print does it say a decsion on insurance matters can be altered...especially 6 months or more down the track lol the letter i received originally from my insurance party goes along the lines of: after discussing the details of the accident amongst the parties involved both RACV insurance and the other party's insurance company have agreed that neither driver can be found at fault and must therefore cover their own damages... thats a rough outline by the way...
  20. Trust me the A4 sheet was my first thought!!! I've kept most of the documents and this morning I noticed an interesting mistake with regard to the letter a received lol..instead of saying in regards to my claim letter of 10th September 2007 it says 10th September 2008 lol that date hasnt even occured yet.. so they've already f**ked up..stupid insurance...in reagrds to the policy im looking at it now as Im not one to let people walk all over me I may consider legal advice too..depending on the outcome of a letter I must right the company...
  21. My mate got caught a lil whiel ago doing a bit of a skid his tough luck.. he got fined for loss of traction on one or more wheels.. as usual with this type of offense and dangerous driving.. which is also pretty standard.. but he also got causing excessive smoke lol wtf is this anyone ever got that one?? its only a 200 and something buck fine but I think its the greatest fine I've ever heard of lol
  22. I also got done for 3months when I received a letter saying where's your license after the intial one I just said I had posted it in and it must have got lost of stolen in the mail..now if u use it to drive and are stupid enough to gte caught expect a 500bucks fine plus extras but if you just wanna keep it for ID just say something simlar to what i did and when you are due to get your license back they will notify you to come down and pose for a new photos and license...I now have 3 licenses as I never handed back in my L's, or my p's and now have my full lol...good for nights out when your sure your gonna lose something lol..
