I couldnt agree more Ando, The biggest lesson I learnt from my passenger who has done Wakie a fair bit in his Volvo (hahahahaha) was to have a little faith in your own ability, relax a bit, stop trying so hard and just work on one turn/corner at a time and most importantly trust what the car is capable of. Once I did that I managed to go from 1:20's down to sub 1:15's I know its not uber fast or anything and I still have a lot to learn but I could tell how I was getting better and better each run, I still have a long way to go but Ill get there........................................................................... ................................................................................. .........................................................one day Hopefully next time Ill spend less time in the grass

Hey Guys & Girls, This is probably a really long shot but I need to find 4 RAYS Wheel caps for a set of Nismo LMGT1 or 2??(not sure what type of Lm'a I've got) rims. I lost two of mine at Wakie on Saturday during one of my many offs and the little buggers seem impossible to get nowadays. If anybody knows of a shop that my have a set please please please let me know either in this thread or via PM. I know it's a long shot but but I just cannot seem to find any. Hey Wizard what kind of lap timer is that? I was using that Harrys iPhone thingy but I'd like to get a good one

The first couple of spins really annoyed me (I think I was just trying too hard) And I thought to myself "I'm never gonna get this right" but I got used to it by the end of the day. I was still pretty happy with how I went at the end of the day for a big newb.

Well it wasn't me John, I spent to much time spinning around in circles!

Did this 32 actually get out and run much? It was in my group but I dont remember seeing it often, then again its pretty hard to see when spinning around and around in circles

I think I did my fair share of whohhhaohhhohhhhoooo's! during the day Eric, all my offs were worth it in the end...got over 5 seconds better throughout the day. Id also like to give a big thanks to Chubbs, Ando, Shell, Matt and the others (Im terrible with names) for making my passenger Alex and myself feel so welcome last night over dinner and drinks at soldiers. It really helped to settle the nerves and and uneasy feeling of being a big noob on the track. Wish I did it years ago Thanks

Hey peeps, ANOTHER noob question so please forgive me! I've done all the track prep such as filters plugs oil blah blah and I added a bit of extra oil last night as recomended by a lot of you guys and it's sitting about 5mm above the "H" on the dipstick. Have I overdone it a bit or does sound about a right level? I put in roughly an extra 700mls Should I drop a little of it out or am I sweet? Thanks people

I have to get my Wakie licence so was thinking of getting there about 730???? I'm not sure wether any staff will be there at that time though. It's my first track day so I do t really have a clue what goes on, better to be early and have time up your sleave IMO

I saw that car on Pennant hills rd the morning of the big blackout at around 7ish and followed it down Beecroft Rd. All the cops doing point duty at the lights were just shaking there heads at it I said to my workmate "I wonder how long it will take him to gat defected" Each to there own but IMO that car looked rediculous, the driver seemed pretty proud of it though. It was bloody loud too
