  1. Already did that.....still can't believe how cheap the prick is. LoL.
  2. Thanks for the input guys. Was injectors, got them sorted yesterday, car is running schmick again. I was pretty sure that such a little bit of fuel wouldn't cause the car to stuff up, i reckon it was more to do with the left over crap at the bottom of the tank effecting them.
  3. Actually, they aren't going to get anymore common then they are now. This is the most we'll ever see in Australia, as the 15yo rule ends. Doesn't matter anyway, they're holding their value pretty well. and 50%? I reckon MORE. Almost eveyrone I see is GMG. Which is why i sprayed mine purple with pearl..... Peace.
  4. In case it has a SMS sent or recieved that incites violence.
  5. For sale: 1990 Nissan Skyline R32 GTR Asking Price: $17,999 Killometer's: 96,600kms Manual or Automatic transmission: Manual Engine Type: RB26DETT Modifications: Apexi air filters/induction kit, Kakimoto exhaust, Turbo Timer, Razo Gear Shifter, Nismo Sideskirts, cross drilled rear rotors, IMPUL 300km/hr Dash. Complianced: Yes, cost includes compliance. Road Worth Certificate: Yes, cost includes RWC. Registration: No, the buyer will register the car as the first Australian owner. Crash History: No Accident History - Inspection Welcome Other Comment's about the vehicle: This car is one of the last GTRs to be imported under the 15 year old rule, it is in good condition, the engine was rebuilt about 10,000kms ago, timing belt was also changed at this time. Interior/Exterior are good, few minor scratches/dents, few blemishes in the interior, but expected for a car of this age. Great all round car, healthy compression in all cylinders. Inspects welcome, but no TIME WASTERS please. I WILL NOT SWAP THE CAR. The price is great as is, absolute bargain. The price that I am asking for is what the car cost me. The car is in a genuine good condition, it's not 'battered' or 'tired.' I need the money for my project R32 GTR, hence the low price. After a quick sale. So that's $17,999 including compliance and including RWC. Contact detail's: Call me on: 0404 723 623 Email: [email protected] or PM me. I'm in MELBOURNE. PICS: More pics available on request, i have HEAPS. Thanks, Ali.
  6. Hmm tough choice. VL Turbos can me made to really fly, but at the end of they day they're a Holden. Plus as mentioned by a few ppl, you will get hassled in a VL, they have a rep, whereas R31s, most people just think its some old car. Buy either based on condition.
  7. ^^^^ Thanks mate, I'll get those things checked out as well 2moro.
  8. Hey guys, So my brother decided to take my R32 GTR for a spin last night but was too cheap to refuel it with petrol, I took the car out this morning and it was on the verge of conking out. So I pull over into some crappy servo only about 2-3 mins from my house and put in 5 bux of their premium stuff, i think it was 95 Octane. Thought it was just enough to get me to the nearest Mobil (BP are out of Ultimate in Vic atm.) Leave the servo, give the car a little squirt, car starts hesitating, backfiring. I drive the car for 2 mins back home. I go to the nearest Mobil (in another car) and get 20L of their 98 Octane, put it in the GTR. Doesn't solve the problem. The car at the moment sounds like a WRX, from the exhaust side of things anyway. Sounds terrible, will have to take a further look tommorow. I'm assuming it has something to do with the fuel pump getting at the crappy stuff at the bottom of the tank, or the crappy 95 Octane petrol, or my injectors are now blocked. Hesitates/Backfires/Coughs like a mofo. Anyone else had any fuel related issues, or could it be something else? Appreciate any help guys. Thanks, Ali.
  9. These days Jap imports aren't big money at all, unless it's like a R34 GTR or equivalent. Also, I think you'll find that the majority of people on this forum are in some sort of IT related industry, hence their presence on these forums. In reality, many people can afford these cars in various industries, but most people don't find it practical or feasible to invest in import cars. For example, my Dad can't grasp the concept of an R34 GTR, he looks at me and says "80 thousand dollars...Nissan....80 thousand dollars....Nissan what the?" Just as buying a 90 model GTR for 20-25k seems like lunacy to many others. Fortunately jap imports aren't exclusive cars for the rich man (there are exceptions as we all know!) these days, they're pretty much a car your average joe can afford. Peace.
  10. Looks like a Supra from the before stickerage pic. Looks the goods though.
  11. Price drop. $11,500. Bargain of a lifetime.
  12. So they're going to actually enforce the power to weight ratio laws now huh? lol. Meh. Drive anyways.
  13. So have A LOT of people been rejected becuase of driving high powered cars on their P's? I thought it was something that seldom happens, i've had a few mates crash their cars, its never come up.
  14. Might just add that i'm not interested in swaps. Thanks.
  15. It was an option on R32 GTSTs. Here's a pic of one, it also had an air purifier  BTW it's a GTST, with a GTR bonet/grill conversion so don't get confused! Peace.
  16. There are a few kits outthere, i researched it before i resprayed my GTR, but they're very pricey, compared to say GTST or 180, s15 kits. Apparently it's because the standard R32 GTR kit looks so good as it is. Best front bar of any car IMO. Expose the FMIC, drop the car a bit, chuck on some rims, that's about as much as you need looks wise. Nismo sideskirts look good if you can get a hold of em. Peace.
  17. LoL maybe. But I'm a fan of "looks." I don't think improving the looks of your car = rice. And if someone else does, then who cares? To hell with em, its your car, do as you wish. 99% people outthere aren't even aware about the concept of rice lol. They think a car that looks good, goes good must be good. For me...Rice is doing up a car the sux all together, such as an excel etc. Peace.
  18. Hmm I like the "wide-boy" bodykit. There's one green one in my area, that I always see going around. Look very nice. I wouldn't define that as rice though, those cars would snap WAY MORE necks than your average, ever-present R33.
  19. For sale: 1990 Mitsubishi GTO (selling for my cousin) Asking Price: $11,500 urgent sale, final price. Complianced: Yes Road Worth Certificate: Yes Registration: No. Crash History: No Accident History - Inspection Welcome Other Comment's about the vehicle: My cousin imported this car, not even a month ago, after going in a ride in my GTO. Unfortunately his financial position has changed so he is off-loading it as fast as possible. The price of 11.5k, is final, it is so low because that's how much the car cost him from Japan! Car is in excellent condition, mechanical inspection welcome. No TIME WASTERS. For 11.5k, you get the car with compliance, all you need to do is register it, as the first Australian owner. This car stands out from the crowd, that's for sure. Not many going around at all. Snaps heaps of necks. Contact: Mobile: 0404723623 PM me. 20. LoL....unlucky. I've been pulled over stacks of times, almost every car i have driven has been over the ratio, especially the GTR. It's never come up. *touches wood* I also, have never heard of anyone coping this fine. I mean look at the number of P Platers in R33 GTSTs.
  21. IOWNU

    Radio Stations

MP3 CDs with a CD Stacker. LoL.....it's impossible for me to get bored.
  22. LoL....2L N/A on one of those double lane highways, that go to Ballarat for example= suicide. But yeah, it would be better if they required P Platers to attend various driver training courses
  23. meh. All those people upset about P Platers in powerful cars, what are you gonna do about it? LoL. I can't see the cops confiscating cars from people becuase of power to weight or other restrictions. It's just going to cause more problems, people would rather run than have their cars confiscated. meh again.
