  1. Hi Chaps, I went out to Symmonds for a look and was pleased to the skyline flag was flying. It was great to see you guys going for it. I hope to se some of you in the Tasmanian Super series soon.
  2. was it insured? did it have an immobilizer fitted?
  3. Hi guys, I have a mate with a circuit racing R32 fitted with a GTR rear wing who is chasing greater downforce and is very interested in adapting this to his car. He's very serious about speaking with someone about it, can anyone help??
  4. I hope I can find them, I was shooting for newspapers in QLD and they own and keep the shots. I of course kept the pix I liked for my self but since moving to Tassie and I can't find anything. I have worked as a media photographer for 15 yrs and nothing is more exciting than shooting motorsport. Bring back the old ATCC days!!!!! I'm sick of the same old V8's running one by one, one lap after another.
  5. I photographed all the ATCC rounds at Lakeside in the late 80's early 90's and remember snapping the R31's and the windfield GTR's....

  8. I know the roll cage is probably the the single most expensive purchase to go racing, but after that it's all down hill.... Once the cage is in and you have the other safety items installed, you can go racing. To grater belief you don't need to have the car as fast as she can be or have new race rubber or the latest "go fast bits" ect..ect.. JUST GO RACING. Half the thrill is actually being out there and giving it a go. Learn the craft, become a better driver, have a s%#t load of fun and then... When time and budget permits, take the next step. Life is too short! I have stuff all money to go racing, so does Briggsie, Perry, Maxfeild..... The list goes on. You simply don't need a V8 SUPERCAR budget to live the dream. JUST DO IT! While you're still living and breathing.....
  9. A good day for the Skylines with the exception of Mark's of course. Q 6th, race one 4th, race 2,3 and 4 finished 3rd. Took 3rd place overall for the day. Had a great battle with Lucky in race 2 and rocketed off the line in race 1 and 2 only to have both the races red flagged before the end of the first lap. Very happy with the speed of the car and looking forward to some fresh rubber, both John and I were running on rubber down to the canvas. One desire of mine is to see the race prepared Skylines sitting in peoples garages, out on the track competing in the TSS. It's some of the cleanest racing in the country and to have as many Skylines in the field would be fantastic.

  18. You push hard or you go home, no need to feel bad BB, it proves you were giving it a red hot go!
  19. Sounds like the problem could be a restrictive wastegate or dump pipe/exhaust or both. If you can't release the exhaust flow fast enough the boost will creep due to the increased pressure within the turbo. I had this problem and had to have the wastegate modified larger and problem solved. There is no boost controller ever made that can hold boost if the exhaust system can't release pressure fast enough.
  20. Has any one got any pix of car 800 at the prologue? I was stepping her out through the car park area and would to see how it looked.
