  1. Yep, got mine delivered here too! All good. Heavy buggers. Cheers! Dan
  2. Betz, when you say you get a boost spike, how much is it? Any danger? Im after getting one, but just want some people who have used it to let me know how it is. Cheers! Dan
  3. Guys, for what I want (described in first post) would a GREDDY PROFEC B-SPEC II ELECTRONIC BOOST CONTROLLER be the way to go? Cheers! Dan
  4. Thanks for that Gav. I was told that using an LSD oil in a non-LSD diff was OK, just not the other way around. Can anyone confirm my choices of oil from the first post? Cheers! Dan
  5. Anyone? Surely someone has done a diff oil change in a 32 GTR? Are those oils ok? Cheers! Dan
  6. G'Day guys! I am getting my 32 GTR serviced shortly. I ahve brought some Redline Oil (80W140) for the diff. Just wondering what the diffs take in total. I got a 4L bottle of it, but heard they might take around 2.5L each? Can any1 confirm this or tell me how much their one took? I know the front is an open diff and the rear is an LSD, is the 80W140 Redline fine for both these diffs (not shockproof)? Cheers guys! Dan
  7. G'Day guys, I was reading on here awhile ago about the best EBC controller to get, but can't find the post now! It was saying something about getting a dual solenoid EBC and that the AVCR is not the greatest choice. What do you guys recommend as a good EBC? Models etc. Currently I have the following: 3 inch turbo-back exhaust Pod filters (going back to airbox very soon) Planned shortly: 2860R's (Garrett) PFC Injectors (prolly 555cc) Fuel pump upgrade So basically whats a good EBC to get at the moment that will work with the planned upgrades? I have done a search, but was wading thru shit completely unrelated and couldn't fine what I was looking for. Want one thats reliable and safe (no boost spikes etc) If you know a good thread, post the link! Cheers, Dan
  8. I'll start the game. $500 Cheers, Dan
  9. Anyone? Any further help would be appreciated guys.... Cheers, Dan
  10. They are 5mm spacers, would removing them be my best/only option? What else would this effect, if anything? Cheers, Dan
  11. Thanks ferni, Would taking the spacers off cause any other issues? They were on the car when I got it, so not entirely sure as to the reason they are on. Cheers, Dan
  12. Any help guys? Suggestions? Thanks Dan
  13. Busky2k - I got the MT90 for the gearbox and some fully synthetic engine oil. With the diff oils, what else other than Redline is good for the diffs? I need an LSD for rear. I ordered a diff oil from Redline for the front diff, but its not LSD. I know you said it doesn't matter, but can you elaborate on this point? Will the LSD function differently/get worn quicker etc without an LSD oil? What LSD oils do you recommend/are good other than Redline? Thanks for your help mate!! Dan
  14. Hi guys, I got new tyres this morning, all the same dimensions around, so no ATTESA issues. 4 wheel computer alignment. All 4 wheels balanced. Here is the problem: Steering wheel seems to sit slightly down on the right side (ie. right side down), not by much, but enough to notice. Above about 80-85 the steering shakes noticeably too. Worse than when I had shitty tyres on front! I will be taking it back, but after some pointers/ideas. I have 5mm spaces on the wheels. 235/45/17 all around. I took it to a well known tyre place in Melbourne that deals with heaps of imports and high end cars, never heard a bad thing about them. When i noticed this i dropped into a Bob Jane (not where i got the original job done) and asked them to check it over. They said all looked ok, no obvious stuff-ups. Balanced ok and tyres fitted correctly. Please help with any advice/ideas you have! Cheers, Dan
  15. Sorry, double post, network issues.... As above!
  16. This is where I am going: Just ordered in (from Burson): Redline MT90 Redline Diff oil 75W90 for the front diff. Still looking around for my rear diff, found out that Penrite have one called Limslip 90. Its an 80W90, whiich is what Nissan recommend, so looking at that as an option, does any1 know anything about it. I want to get an LSD oil for the rear if possible. Probably going to get the Mobil 1 or the Motul 300V for the engine. Input is always welcome guys. Cheers, Dan
  17. Thanks for your help Busky2k! With the diff oils I was under the impression that the front diff was open and that the rear diff required an LSD oil? Is that wrong or am I mis-informed? Which LSD oil would you recommend? Cheers! Dan
  18. Anyone? Just after some opinions/comments guys, I am going to hopefully buy this stuff or order it over the weekend. Any help is appreciated. Cheers, Dan
  19. G'Day guys, I browsed thru about 8 pages of this thread and did a search, nothing really of the flavour I was after. So if you can help (or point me to the right thread if it exists) it would be appreciated. For a 1990 R32 GTR - 110K on the clock.... 1. The new Castrol Edge 0W40 - what do people think of this product? Would it be suitable for my car? I don't want to go down the path of a semi synthetic, so what do people recommend as a fully synthetic? Castrol Edge good/no good? 2. Diff oils - For the front and rear diffs of the GTR what do people recommend? I heard Redline do a good diff oil, but some people told me to steer clear of their diff oil too, so im a little confused. I know the rear is LSD and the front is not, so other than needing an LSD oil for the rear, what else do people recommend? 3. Gearbox Oil - Again, I have heard that Redline do a good oil. I was looking at the 75W90. Comparing this to the Castrol VMX80 - is it like comparing chalk and cheese? Is redline worth the $$? No problems with my gearbox at the moment. Sorry for the long post guys, if I have missed the right answers, please just point me in the right direction. Cheers, Dan
  20. The other one is exactly that same, although I have never changed the battery on this one.... Cheers, Dan
