  1. "Innocent" would generally mean not committing an offence. And, last time i checked, speeding is an offence. So 'innocent' is probably not the best description. I don't know what you got canaried for, generally a defective vehicle/unroadworthy etc, also not an 'innocent' offence. Also noticied a bit of activity out the Tullamarine area lately with regards to defect stations. Cheers, Dan
  2. You should go back and slap him up-side the head!
  3. There was a DRUGS/BOOZE/RWC station set up last night on Mickleham Rd, just as you turn into Greenvale. I got breath tested, passed ok, then told to go onto median strip behind an STI. The STI was getting a reaming from the cop, so I thought the fun would soon start for me. The cop was actually quite reasonable and fair however. He looked under the hood, tested the exhaust noise and sent me on my way after a little chat him and I had. No issues for me! Cheers, Dan
  4. Shoot me a PM, i give you details of what I did/who i went to. Not saying they can help you, but im sure they will try and do the best they can.... Cheers, Dan
  5. If all you need is the 'noise test', its done at an exhaust shop, they DONT check anything except your exhaust noise output. (For mine anyways). A cheap alternative - get the stocker fitted. Cheers, Dan
  6. Sweet. It was actually CREATD that told me that, they getting the pineapples for me too. I didnt mention at first in case it was wrong, didnt wanna bad-name some1. I notice you mention CREATD alot! I live not far from them (and happen to also work on Sydney Rd), we should organize a cruise sometime soon! (that is if you are there like I think you are...lol) Cheers again mate! Dan
  7. Hi guys, As per topic, been told my subframe bushes are shagged. The suggestion was to bang in pineapples. Just wondering if this is a 'band-aid' fix, or a good solution. I did a seach and there is a few little conflicting things, so thought I would ask directly. Some people seemed to be saying pineapples are good if the subframe bushes ARE good. I dont mind replacing the subframe bushes if thats whats required, just wanted to check tho. Any suggestions on which pineapples/subframe bushes would be appreciated too! Cheers, Dan
  8. If you can go back to the guy that you got the car from, try and find out whats in it - or better yet, get receipts. If you are not sure they are forged internals, dont treat them like forged internals. If they ARE forged, 18psi is fine, you control the boost with your right foot anyways! Cheers! Dan
  9. Standard boost on a BNR32 is 7psi. Just by changing exhaust/intake it can go up to around 9-10psi. Given what mods you have listed I wouldn't recommend going over the 18psi you are running. What did you rebuild your engine with? Do you have splitfires? Cheers! Dan
  10. I have the same problem. Had it for a few months now. Have replaced the battery with a brand new one. Any ideas? Dan
  11. Thats your problem. Try switching the fronts to the rear and vice versa. Should resolve your issue. Cheers, Dan
  12. So the nengun ones will fit, just need to chase up new o-rings? Anyone know where to get the correct o-rings? Also, still after finding out where I can get the Blitz 700cc direct drop ins. Cheers, Dan
  13. Yeah, I prob wont go with highflows, I prefer new. I was thinking that for ~$600 delivered the Sards were a bargain. I guess that the 'thinning' of the injector plug would be a non-issue from a fitment point of view. I use CREATD already, so I am sure they are used to that work. With the Blitz 700cc you recommend, where can I source them? Cheers for the replies guys, Dan
  14. G'Day guys, I am looking for injector upgrades for my 32GTR. Will be getting a PFC, 2860R -7's and a new fuel pump. Looking to get direct replacements if possible. Are the Sard 700cc/800cc easy to fit in, or is there a lot of dicking around? I have searched, but without much success. I know the Nismo are direct replacements, but wondering what else is also direct drop in? Thanks guys. Dan
  15. Actually, pre-ignition is different to detonation. But all are bad for the engine! Dan
  16. Im in Melb too, I give you $100 for the drivers side one - I can pick up. Let me know. Cheers, Dan
  17. Check out the group buy section mate, there are good deals to be had in there. Prices are not announced, only done over PM. Cheers, Dan
  18. *Brings an old thread back to life* G'Day guys, For the Garrett turbos, I am getting the 717160 -7. (R34 N1 Replacements) I have the mounting flange gasket on the way too. Does anyone know what studs, bolts and the like I need, part numbers and where I can get etc? Rough pricing? (only so I dont get reamed unknowingly) Thanks heaps guys, this thread has a real wealth of info, hoping to add to it once I get all my stuff in. Cheers! Dan
  19. It could also be that the battery is cactus. Thats what happened to me, it would ONLY JUST start after an hour driving around. Then got a new battery about 2 weeks ago. No issues since then.
  20. Ok, a few questions. What is 'death knock' and 'death rattle' - like when specifically would they occur and sounds etc? Mainly looking for ways to pin point if its occuring etc. What is the beast way to determine an engine's health? I would assume just a comp test and a leak down test? Do they suffice? Or should there be other things to look at/do? Cheers! Dan
  21. It will be the same old story guys, they had a hard childhood, their mum denied them a toy or some other horse-shit reason. And if they got 3 months I would be very surprsed. We need to bring back police with balls, or allow vigilantes. Why not both.... </rant> Dan
  22. +1 And they happily install alarms that you supply. I got one from Chris Rogers, they put it in. Simple. Dan
