  1. What part no. is on the RX7 injector 195500-1370 (pink top square plug) or 195500-2020 (other colour purple(?) with oval type plug). I was told that the pink ones are nicknamed sperm or squirt injectors, even though they are easier to fit due to the plug they have more drama's tuning? I have microtech so no drama's in what injector I use as long as it fits. Also for a mild and tunable upgrade could you use CA18DET inj. at 370-380cc or RB26DETT inj. at 444cc? thanks
  2. Hey trying to help out a mate. He got a Sard trigger boost controller from the wreckers and he don't know how to wire it up. The wires coming out of the plug marked "power" (there are 6, 2 go to the solenoid, then there is red +, 2x black wires and a yellow) what are these other wires please? Thanks
  3. Hi I am wanting to fit thermo fan's to my RB equipped 180 and I want to fit the electronic fan control. On the RB 20 there are two sensors on the inlet manifold that are connected to the cooling system which one is the temp sensor (nearest to the motor or the outside one?) I have also noticed that pin 6 out of the ECU controls 'fan' can this be used for the thermo on/off? Thanks for your time.
  4. Thanks for that. Allthough I think you would use a capacitor fornoise supression. But if you find out any other info please share. I have been told by someone else you don't need it, so it may be ok.
  5. Hi I am after some info please. I am currently fitting an RB20DET into my 180sx. I am rebuilding the engine as a freshen up so I am a few weaks away. Anyway what my question is regarding the resistor that has 2 wires out of it that is placed up on the passenger side strut tower. What is it for? The reason I ask is after looking in some magazines and looking at S13's with RB's in them, this resistor is in place. The fella who made up my loom so it plugs into the 180sx plugs, say's it is not necessary....But after seeing it in place on other cars has got me a little worried. I don't want to finish my conversion, plug in the harness then boom! Something blows up, I won't be happy! So if someone can please tell me what the resistor is for it would appreciated. It sits in the R32 (I have still got the resistor as I removed the harness myself and sent it to him) in the middle on the passener side strut tower next to the turbo. Thanks
  6. Thank you very much! Is there any other torque settings that I may have missed on asking about? But thanks again! May I ask how you found this info please? I am almost tempted to get a R32 manual but the RB20 is going into my 180sx but it seems pointless.
  7. Torque settings for a rebuild on an RB20 for example con-rod, main bearings, head bolts, camshaft bolts etc
  8. I am after some info please. I am after Torque settings for an RB20DET can any one help please? Thanks!

  10. My opinion is to fully check out the shops work. If you see an exhaust that you like ask the owner. I got stung with my IC pipes big time shop will remain nameless but they were in the list. I had to redo pipework for the following reasons I had a oddysey battery which he was aware of yet he ran pipework past the positive battery terminal (the battery terminal had cover on it) as the battery sat on side the pipework thumped against battery posts causing internal breakage. pipework rubbed on bonnet and together. pipe to throttle body blew off on dyno (dyno operater guessed who did work even when I refused to tell him who did it!)and final insult was a shit tin pod filter replacing a 1 month old K&N panel filter (which is now in ol' man's navara) cost was $600 for export paint painted pipework. My mate and I redid all of it ourselves had it HPC coated piping for around $300! Please don't fall in same trap I did!
