  1. Have you tried cleaning/polishing your headlights? I had to do mine and they came up a treat, allthough I have to redo every 2 months or so. I am going to try and get hold of a kit where you spray a sealant over the light to stop it going green again. And Chris which Nissan do you recommend to get V35 stuff through, I tried the one at Petrie and they were a bit hesitant. (After drivers side inner door seal).
  2. Brake Discs on the earlier models (up to 2005 when they got the bigger front setup) not so much. In America on their G35's they were doing replacement discs/pads as low as 19000miles (approx 30000km's) or even 13000miles (20000km's). There was talk of class action against infinity not sure it actually happened though.
  3. Hello Back again, using my non existent paintshop skills I used the wheels as shown on the Stagea (both in the light and shade) above and also found some pics of some V35 coupe wheels painted gun metal grey. I do like the tungsten in the shade but not so in the light. Suggestions?
  4. Make sure you get '05 350z springs, with earlier the arse end will sag a bit more.
  5. Apparently +40 according to this G35 forum std wheel offsets Have a look on the inside of the wheel on the back of the spokes.
  6. ^^^That looks pretty darned good!
  7. A chap posted this site up on a question I asked not to long ago. Go to Nissan and type in your VIN no. http://www.amayama.com/
  8. A chap posted this on BC.com. They aren't the coupe wheels, but are close. I think if the wheels were dished, hellyeah black with polished rim/lip. I am just worried with black wheels it will be to much black?
  9. I think for auto transmission fluid people use Nissan stuff as it is highly advised to. Other items such as brakes etc aren't as fussy.
  10. ^^That looks pretty cool. Is there much point fitting coupe seats in a sedan? I sat in a mates coupe and I swear it sits a bit lower? In a sedan feels like I am in a high chair and yes seat is at it's lowest height.
  11. Hello I got a set of V35 coupe wheels from a mate for cheap. Two have scratches around the rim and all of them have light scuffing on the spokes. I would like to neaten them up but to get them re-done in shadow chrome is $260 each, way more than I paid for them lol. Anyway the wheel repairer (Depulu) suggested a colour change to plain silver which brings the cost down to $185 each wheel (inc tyre removal/refit), which is much better for the wife . Anyway I was also thinking perhaps gun metal would look alright as well. It is a black V35 sedan. Here are 2 links I found of what I am thinking of The first is an Audi but they are 7 spoke wheels so sort of close-ish. Audi with gun metal 7 spoke gunmetal wheels The second is a set of 18 coupe wheels home painted to gun metal. coupe wheels painted gun metal If there are any other colour suggestions fire away. But not keen on black and not not keen on black with red lip.......
  12. Just make sure when you do get it serviced they use the correct fluid. Do a search on here I am pretty sure I have seen this topic a few times. *edit seems you found it......
  13. Hello, I checked with a supplier of these brakes on the G35driver.com forums. The 18" V35 coupe wheels require a spacer, while the 18" 350Z wheels are a-ok. Unfortunately for me I just bought some 18" coupe wheels, so for my V35 Sedan I might have to look at the Brembo's since my wife drives the car 90% of the time. Anything has got to be better than the single caliper job they used on these things!
  14. LOL Sorry Stuart, yes they do have the VDC switch. It goes in the order from the ignition side - Blank Plug, Boot Popper and VDC button. I want to replace the blank plug with something else.
  15. Hey Stuart, nothing happened matey. I am adding a switch and I would like to keep it neat by adding a "stock looking" switch as there is a blanking plug next to the boot popper. I will of course remove the text from said switch. Also why I am not really keen on spending $80 on the switch. IF it needed replacing I wouldn't hesitate.
  16. FUUUUDDGGE Option 1 don't have the switch. It is $80 shipped from Riverside Infinity which I will use as a last resort. Going to checkout what local cars have to offer, may fluke something.
  17. Hey thanks guys I have called them, they are checking they have one in the front cut they have. Bit iffy to see from the picture on their site though....
  18. V-spec in V series? Welcome to the forums?
  19. Hello I would like to purchase a VDC switch. I have tried the All-jap, A1 jap, SSS Automotive, Japanese Motorsport, Jap only, All State, Asian Auto Imports, Rolin, STZ and Just Jap to name a few. Any other means of sourcing one? Maybe from America?
  20. Check out G35driver.com. Awesome site for looking up that sort of thing.
  21. Thank you Mark for being honest about the gearknob and for the refund.
  22. Our 2003 V35 Sedan (65000km's) hasn't had any issues yet. The only thing I hate about it is the fuel gauge. As soon as it hits 1/4 it shoots down like tomorrow. I was panicking one day as I visited a mate (Yin Sun on here) as the wife and I left the fuel gauge was on a 1/4 as we went around the corner it shot straight down and the fuel light came on. I crawled it around the block to the nearest servo and I was pulling in the fuel gauge went back up to just under 1/4! I put some fuel in it anyway and asked the wife (she drives it the most) as soon as it hits on or near 1/4 fill the bitch up! But other than that it has been fine.
  23. Thank you for your reply. Is what I have posted above the standard size for the coupe? 225/40 front 235/40 rear? Thanks again
  24. Hello all I will be picking up some V35 18" coupe wheels from a mate soon. My V35 sedan at the moment is fitted with 215/55-17 std wheels and tyres. The 18's have fitted on the 225/40-18 for the front wheels and 235/40-18 for the rear. These tyres have about 6 months worth of useable life in them left. When these are done what would be a good size to go to? Using a tyre calculator 235/45-18 would be the best. Would these fit on the front as well as I would prefer to have the same size all around for rotating purposes. Using this tyre calculator My link it says if you go over 3% your brakes could fail is this true?
