  1. Yeah, I saw this adv when I start seaching? that realy make my heart beat faster It get everything i want: Face lift model Means : better looking tail light every good and expence Rays Wheels as standard Sunroof. 6MT. OMG, it goes so fast.
  2. Answer your questions: - Why the sedan is much cheaper than the Coupe? If the difference is only a few grands, I probably understand. But looking at j-spec website, there are massive difference in price. This is also one of the reason why I am thinking to get the sedan, besides being more practical than the coupe (albeit Coupe 10x sexier) I THINGK THAT BECAUSE THE STYLE AND DEMAND&SUPPLY??? - How does the 8 speed CVT perform compared to manual? I have some experience driving Honda Jazz with 7 speed CVT and I love it! But this is probably because Jazz is not designed to be sporty. My question here is, would the CVT transmission take away the 'sportiness' of the V35 or in fact enhance the experience? YES, IN THE HARD ACCELERATE, THE METAL BELT IN THE CVT WILL FLIP, CAUSE LOST OF ON WHEEL POWER. THAT IS WHY TOP SPORT USE DSG STYLE BOX INSTEAD OF CVT - Why the 8 speed CVT only available in the Sedan. The Coupe I believe gets normal ordinary auto box. Is this part of the answer to the above question, ie, CVT takes away the sportiness of the car? SAME AS LAST QUESTION. - I can see on the paper that power-wise, V35 sedan seems quite quick, in fact probably one of the quickest in the sport sedan segment (in the price bracket). How does the sedan drive in the real world? MORE LIKE A LUCURY SEDAN WITH TAUGH SUSPENSION - I think overall V35 is a very good car, both in sedan and coupe form. Why is it so rare? Is it because compliance has only been granted recently? JUST ABLE TO COMPLIANCE SINCE 2006, 40K FOR COUPE IS A LITTLE BIT OVER PRICE, 30K SEDAN DOES NOT CATCH THE POINT AS LOTS OF OTHER CHOISE(THE SAME RULE APPLY TO TOYOTA CHASER) - How much is the cost of compliance in Sydney? AROUND 3500-4000
  3. I get a Auto Coupe and one of my mate get a 350GT-8 sedan. We often drive each other's car. Compare with Coupe, The feeling of Sedan is total different. Weak point ---The driving postion is much higher as it is a sedan ---Steeling wheel is lighter and lack of road feeling. ----No idear about engine as the transmission do lots of affect on engine curve. ----CVT make the sounds like a GOlF trolley instead of a sports sedan. -----The SUB installed on rear panel make the bass a bit noisy(coupe get 2 6X9) -----Not the frameless windows as the past skyline Sedan got. -----single exhaust lack of sport look Good Point: ------Front Seat Back adjustment is also Electrical(Coupe is manual) ------rear seat back is adjustment(that really make high way cruise comfortable) ------Head light is a little bit different. ------a bigger boot. ------rear seat middle hand rest can be pull down, and access to the boot, incase that all 4 seats been occupied, you still can put your over sized fishing equipment in the boot. ------Rear seat got individual air condition ------OFTEN $7K-10K cheaper than coupe. Last week my mate dirve it to 170Km/h, he said it is still feel smoth. Over all it is a good car, good engine good box. good building quality.
  4. I love your wing but it is too much for me. any good offer??
  5. Just ask anyone own the 5AT, How about the petrol consumtion? My one goes to 15-16L/100KM in sydney daily drive to work with pretty lots of stat-stop. Is that a little bit high or just normal. On high way from sydney to newcastle it goes about 10-11L/100km, that is reasonable. Any numbers welcome. Cheers
  6. Call them this morning. As I expected: Basicly They can do nothing on it beside used the screen as a display equipment and connect other device on it not actually"convert". Go on looking for something else. Thanks everybody
  7. G35ME: THANKS FOR YOUR HELP, I WILL CALL THEM TOMORROW. WISH I CAN GET A GOOD RESULT. CHEERS.
  8. I don't think so. I meet the same problem Want to use GPS in AUs with the JAP GPS unit on. But i Failed. The audio guy give me w options: 1, Install a VDO unit in the "up-grovebox",and use the Stock screen to display, use the remote to control. That cost me 1700, Consider I already get a TOM TOM G710 for $900, I just drop the option. 2, Install a DVD player in the "ip-grovebox", use the screen to display DVD film. ETC, that also need a lot of work because the screen seems in RGB input. That cost me about $800 with a S**T Brand unit. I think this is what kleenbeats DID. The result is : I give up. What I am trying to do IS: Disconnect the TV unit , Used it harness to get a set of AV input. Does any have any experience on that or anyone can get the Harness Manual for the audio syetem??? Please help me. I Guess every one are looking for this things.
  9. mine one has 2 big keys with botton on it for remote control also come with a spare key with red plastic end without any botton on it. Which one is your Flip one??? BTW my one are total stock.
  10. I THINK HIS GOOD is the mesh not body kit. I want your wing, i am poor, how much can you accept??
  11. That is not a "REFITTING". If the car used to have a airbag and explosed in an accident. The repair shop just put the same airbag unit in it That is what you called "REFITTING" In this case it is NOT. 180sx has no airbag, put some thing in it will be a very dangours work to any car. Just as said: the airbag may come out at the wrong time as the wrong diretion and kill our poor driver. That is we called STUPID.
  12. \\\Sorry Mate, I did't notice that you are in P's. en.............. As I know VIC is different from NSW as Their rules is based on Power/weight ratio?? That Means a good power but heavier car may be OK for you?
  13. for 16K , you can get very clean examples of Skyline R33 S2 with twin Airbags and Turbo and Auto. I can not understand why you want to go to 180 with auto?????
  14. I think it is just normal 1 pot things. I also want to upgrade my coupe things. looking for some good deals either.
  15. The good news about V35 is, Au Dollars are become stronger against Yen, That means you can save 1-2 thousand dollars on a 2 Million Yen impot project or get a much more better deal within same burget. I import my 350GT coupe with help from Craig, What I want to say is, the deal price from auction is much more better than I expect. My 2003 Premium Pack with Acution grade 4 for 34k Km with sunroof(which is very rare) cost me 2.04 Million Yen Plus 10,000 Aution charge. Intotal I spend $37200 landed and ready to rego. then 1100 for rego and stamp duty, 300 for CTP, 1800 for Comprehensive Insurance(with Famous). So in total about 40Ks on road and full insuranced. Because my one is in Trip and 17 wheels. so I believe if you want a standard Manual with brembo 2M yen should be a reasonable price, unless you are looking for the very expence color say: black. But if you don not insist on Manual, or you think four doors is a good balance between performance and baby seats. 350GT-8 may be a good choise. With every thing , Leather trim, dual zone , 8 speed CVT with Steel wheel panel, sunroof, or even --------Black. My mate just got on for 28K AUD with 6 months rego. That is a good deal. Do remember , 2003 model is out in jap for quite while, all the auctions are full of them. Good luck every one.
  16. Had Very good exp with Craig importing my 350GT. The only problem is it cost me almost 12 weeks due to delay of shippment. It cost me 3weeks from auction to shippment because the ship schedule, and another more week for SEVS approve after complaince. Additional one week for RTA(NSW) Inspection----just because my car is so new that RTA require inspection beyond the normal Blue slip. The rest are smooth. Craig help me just spend 2,040,000+10,000auction fee to found a Premium pack with sunroof on 34k kms within a week. That is good price and fast work. The whole process like this: Talk with Craig over phone for several times before decesion(sorry Craig, I know that takes you lots of time) and a deep understant how it works. then starts: Week 1 Pay agent fees for 1000 and make a burget for arount 2M yen for a sunroof virson. Week 1, A big auction finished, interested in 2 in that auction, but over the price. Week 2, By WED, another auction ended, My car start from about 1.8M yen and I got it on 2.04M yen plus auction fee. Week 3, By Tue, Reveived the payment details from japan acution, Week 3, By Wed Transfer through KVBKUNLUN who offer the best exchange rate and the fasted service, by that time i get about 85.6 and Comm just offer me 83. Week 3, By Thu the Motoworld In japan(who is the angent bought the car for us) reveived fund. Week 4, First Scheduled Ship date come out on week 5 Week 5, Missed the first ship, Don't know the reason, maybe it is full? Week 6, Nothing but waiting for the nest shipment. Week 7, Finanly on ship. Week 8, After 10 days, when ship is support arrived in Bris, but stay on out sea due to whether reason. Week 9, Land on port, Waiting for custome clean work. Week 10, Clean work finished, They through my factory carpet away (What a F***) Week 10, Car has been transfort to Compiance work shop in Bris Week 11, Compiance work finished, My Factory XEON headlight has been convert to some H1 size rubish. Week 12, waiting for ADR approve. Week 13, ADR approve. Week 13, Friday.Car transport to Sydney by Toll, I pick it up on friday at 13:00, But no workshop able to do the Blue slip after lunch time. Week 13, Satuday, Finished Blue ship, but RTA closed. Week 14, Monday, Went to RTA, Has been told that need RTA inspection, Make an booking on Firday. Week 14, Friday, Finished the Inspection, I can dirve my car................................... I think my time line is very helpful for people to estimate the time cost in importing. and as well as how tho accelerate the whole procedure. As the Craig said: it may cost between 8 weeks(if you are lucky)to 12 weeks(if you are as bad as me). also the price may vary alot depand on the exchange rate. this days on Nov and DEC, it goes to 90.XX, which mean you may save up to 2000 bucks.
  17. thanks Jimbo2000, It is so lucky to have same car with you (before you sold that) I will contract them the other day.
