Hey fellas
I know I'm gonna regret this but I'm selling my Genuine AME Modelarts
I highly doubt anyone will find another set like these
I have owned these rims for almost 8 years now.
20x8" fronts and 20x12" rear
the wheels started out as 20x8s all round then I got a set of dishes custom made overseas
I have never seen or head of a set of AMEs in this size or offset
Theres were an 8K set of wheels when new plus the money i spent on em to widen the rears
I got an offer of 6k when I had them on my skyline but I wasn't prepared to sell them back then
I have no car to put em on now and I really want to get cracking on my merc project so its time to let em go
They have a PCD of 5x114.3 at the moment but i can have em made to fit anything.
Im taking offers at the moment so if your interested PM me.
Ideally id like something close to 6k but these kind of wheels aren't for everyone so if anyone is seriously interested PM me and we can go from there
I was replying to UWISSH bud
when cars need to go to DECC anti tempering inspections at a DECC approved inspection station its only a noise test and visual inspection
its gotten tougher
they wont pass intercoolers that aren't stock, you need all the factory emission control items fitted and operating
we've been doing a lot of this stuff lately
so we pretty much know exactly what has to be done to pass the car first time every time
You need to have all emission gear functioning correctly
You will have to refit your side mount intercooler
You need a cat with nissan stamped on it.
The exhaust doesn't need to be stock it just needs to pass the noise limit.
What will happen is the workshop will take photos and do a noise test
Then they will send the results to the EPA.
If the EPA is satisfied that that car has not been Tampered with they will send you a letter of compliance.
If not they will call you in for a full emissions test.
Hey fellas
i've got a brand new two speed powerglide transmisson
to suit RB engine and will handle about 1000hp
located in wetherill park nsw
I'm after 3500
take it to the guy in campbelltown ive taken 4 cars there and never had an issue
make sure it has the STOCK NISSAN cat, the rest of the exhaust can be custom made as long as it is under 90db
make sure you have the stock airbox including the snorkel
I LOLed when a customer brought one back saying "the battery shop told me its no good for my car" and they proceeded to sell him an optima for twice the price
they must be shit since 5 of my other customers use these batteries perfectly and have done so for years a couple years now.
stupid battery shops LMAO

Hey guys,
After our opening BBQ this year, where over 200 people and 150 cars came down
we though we should close out the year with another BBQ down at the workshop.
Everyone is welcome, so we hope to see you all there.
as long as its neat and tidy with no wires and rubbish it will always look good
dont use too many different colored parts, pick two or three and stick to em
black and chrome always looks good
it has to match the whole look of the car so IMO i wouldnt paint to covers red
paint the covers to match the can and do everything else either chromed or black and it will look awesome
