Regardless if my car is turbo or n/a I will drive sedately until the car warms up. However in my previously owned turbo cars I keep off boost until the car is warm. I rarely leave the car in the drive with the engine running until it is warm.

Get a few more quotes and play them out against each other...

I know there is a lot of info in the forums that may cover my question, but it would be nice to have it all in one thread

I was wondering what should be replaced, or at least, inspected when purchasing an import direct from Japan (i.e. first Australian owner). Example: I've been told that you should replace every hose in the car - like all things they will deteriorate with age and its better to spend a few hundred $$ on hoses than for something to spring a leak, possibly causing a lot more $$ in damage. For this example are there any hose kits? Specifically for the RB26DETT. Any info would be appreciated. A rough price guide would be great too.

I'm buying a Skyline... What should I look for?
Method replied to Merli's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
You may even want to ask for the auction sheet to check the original condition of the car at the sale of auction. You never know, it may have been banged up badly and then repaired to resemble an auction grade 4 car. -
I was wondering if there is any high-res skyline wallpaper out there? Here is a photo I took and altered to use as wallpaper... Driftmania - 1280x1024 Mike

Do you drive a manual or an automatic car?
Method replied to TracidTrax's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I've owned... 8 Manuals. 0 Auto. If I owned a 4x4 and actually went off-road I'd probably buy an auto... -
You mean Dog-eat-dog world... Free bump, goodluck with the sale dude!

I did do a search before posting guys. But the Search facility said that "M" didnt have enough letters in it to perform a search. So then I searched for M-Spec and found some posts, but nothing relevant. However, thanks for the info!
