judging by the response i probably should have spent a little more to get better tyres, anyways no big loss in a year i will just get another set thats a little better, (or buy a new car after i crash). though i dont think i will ever buy high end tyres again for road use. i bought 3 sets of dunlop sp9000 @ $2k a set and only lasted 15000 kms. its that i dont think i push the car hard enough on the road to justify the cost of these tyres. may be when i learn how to drive i might get some better rubber. anyways im happy atm with the rubber that i got.

well being a DD i cant justify spending heaps on soft rubber that wear out in 15000 kms. ive been down that path already and having to shell out for nearly 2 sets of tyres a year starts to hurt. this time i wanted a harder compound tyre for the durability. thats why i also bought a second set of cheap std gtr rims, sticky tyres are much cheaper in 17" compared to 19".

its for a r33 gtr if that makes a difference. just after the hand controller. in the newcastle nsw area

just got some rubber for my rims and wondered if they were a good price. fitted and balanced was a set of 4 275/30/19 nexen n3000. what have other people paid for this size. i was after a cheap set and these fit the bill. BTW it was purchesed from newcastle/gateshead area

i have 700cc sard injectors already. i just want to get everything at once and bolt em all on to save on tuning. its just the lag im disappointed with atm. been reading alot and seems they are not the greatest turbo option for the rb26

did some searching and i think i will need a retune for the AFM, if i put in some z32. are the n60 afm maxed out with the current power of 240rwkw?

ive got a mate with a hks 2530 out of a sr20. Now if i get 2 of these will it bolt straight onto my R33 GTR. At the moment i have HKS 25/40 turbos on there, but they dont spool up till 5000 rpm. Are the hks 25/30 a better option. Im after around 270-300kw and the most responsive turbo is what i want. From what i read it is but want to make sure before i splash the cash Now the Power FC hand controller. i don't have one in my r33 GTR. Can any power FC hand controller connect to the one in my car atm? Is it just a plug in thing (im thinking so) and are all plugs the same for every different model car? Also i have some N60 AFM (purple sticker) from a RB25 or maybe RB20 motor in my R33 gtr. from what i have read these are good for around 350hp. my goal is around 270-300kw which is 360-400hp. I am now assuming i will need to upgrade these to n62 (z32) afm. Im also assuming these are a direct fit after seeing a few pics on the forum of the two, but what i want to know is will my engine need a retune aswell A bit of background about the car. its a r33 gtr series 3 with HKS 25/40 turbos, turbo back exhaust, PFC, n60 AFM, adj cam gears, and a blitz e-boost controller. Car is making 240kw atrw on 13 psi (safe tune)

thanks guys i just couldn't work out the track with as i don't know much about off set on wheels. the tyres im grabbing are 275/30/19 with will be legal as well i think as they are 14.77mm smaller than standard tyres. cheers guys.

where abouts are you located and have you got the boot carpet and now much also after a air con line that goes under the air filters. It gors from the front of the engine to the firewall and is the small return line under the bigger ac pipe if that helps. how much for these and postage to newcastle nsw 2290

im after a boot mat for my r33 and the coin slot emblem (GTR) the one between the seats. also after the AC return pipe that goes under the air filters. its the smaller pipe that goes from the front of the car to the back of the engine bay and its under the thicker AC pipe. im in newcastle so im after the parts locally or if postage is not too expensive.

im not 100% sure on the size of the stock rim as my gtr came with different wheels. ive got a set of 19x10 with an offset of +18. just thought some one might know off the top of their head if its legal in NSW for a 33 gtr

ive been looking and from what i can gather they are legal in NSW. i think the stock wheels are 17"x9". so if i keep the same rolling diameter i should be sweet? right?

mmmm i think i will have to dream some more and stick with a clean r33 GTR. not nearly as good but its better than buying a lemon r34

im looking at buying one, but i wanted to know whats the lowest price people have seen r34 gtr's go for. ive seen then for $40k personally, but have anyone seen cheaper and in what condition are they in. has anyone heard of then selling for $35k

trying to find out whats the going rate for gtr insurance. i got a quote from just are for $2200 for full comprehensive insurance for a $30000 96 model gtr with unlimited mods. excess is also $2000. is that cheap or expencive. also im 25yo and am a rating 1 and live in newcastle. could other gtr owners share what they pay for insurance.
