  1. forgot to add,: i have a almost brand new (used for about 1 hour) Whiteline Swaybar BNF24 for R33 GTST. Cant use it as it wont clear new sump!. just purchased the bar from ERD fair few months ago but b een building the car up for 12 months and the bar has had virtually 0% use. has some scratches on it due to fitment issues, but its in VGC $180! or nearest offer! go

  4. Hi guys, That is perfect Sinista32, I wish i had that y onks ago. After 3 or so years, last week I have resolved my Hicas issue after first start and runin of my new engine, however I can not say 100% what the issue was unfortunently. But I am pretty sure its related to the pump and or pressure control valve, as my previous post stated I did infact swap out my pump but didnt resolve it, however after the engine came out, i spent time checking and cleaning every sensor in teh system, one in particular which i didnt properly service last time was the pressure control valve near the alternator (drivers side). this time both thatsensor/valve and pump was the new additions and after first start of the new engine.. my issue has been resolved. Unfortunently I had to do things in this order due to the engine built which is not helpful in pinpointing the cause of this issue, and in my situation it seems that maybe both the pressure control valve and pump were issues. (possibly) Hopefully that picture sinista32 has posted is of use to assisting others resolving this same issue. good luck

  6. paul, have you whacked another set of working coil packs or an igniter on the car to test yet?
  7. just in regards to my earlier post, there was no way spacing either the bar mounts or engine mounts enough to clear the ASR Competition sump without causing other issues ie, bonnet not closing or bar not working properly. therefore a custom bar had to be made by www.mako.com.au wish I did that first as its only $70 more than the whiteline bar.. i wish I had just got the 800$ baffled one for street/performance use.

  10. lol @ pipster11 hey sriver killer. I have a geniune R33 gtst standard Front Sway bar for sale. however... I have the same problem as you, I went and purchased the ASR Competition sump( big mistake for a street/track car) as it is huge, ASR Comp sump + R33 will require a Custom sway bar made... . I am currently awaiting a custom bar being made up. by these guys www.mako.com.au its about $325 for the custom bar.
  11. AFM issue, had this before, from a loose wire. could be vacume leak, or AFM, definently air related.

  14. For sale: Jim Berry custom single plate rated 700hp (rated by jim berry) 6 puck custom carbotic push type Clutch built for RB25DET R33 GTST. Fairly nice pedal a little heavy, 50% life left. Originally cost me $1200 bucks Comes with; fully balanced billet flywheel thrust bearing full clutch with cover etc. All good working condition. currently in the car being used, but will pull it out when someone buys it. reason for sale: need a bigger clutch for new engine price: $450? not sure how much its worth.

  17. Finally got some numbers but its not done yet, On the New motor, with the 6262 .84 TS BB CEA. Run-in tune (super safe) verylow/negative timing, 9-10 psi. 210-220 rwkw. Turbo is super responsive and perky even with the timing so low, I noticed instantly its very throttle responsive, its very possible my intake setup helps in this regard. But the way it moves the air so quickly I have a good feeling this setup will be pretty decent on the 30/25 with vct! One noticable characteristic.. the turbo seems very loud. even on low boost. however i am moving from lowmount to high mount during this build, so that might be why i think that. will be doing real tuning next week if all continues well. Will post numbers as promised when its done. Unfortunently still running hte PFC and Tomei Z32 as no one has purchased the gear yet. -dale

  20. its going to add up alot more than you think, just for first glace at your list, u will need 2 sets of those arp stud kits for ur mains, as they are sold for SR20s and u will require 2 packs to do your motor.
