  1. im currently at the same situation your at grandmasterb except my 200rwk rb20 is only just holding together. i nearly went for another second hand motor but thought why not go better if spending some cash.. im after around 220-240rwkw... i've been askin around for options on the 2.4 and what i have been advised from a reputable tuning shop in perth is a GTR crank with forged toyota 4agze pistions. i think he also mentioned using rb25 or 26 rods aswell for their strength.. bit of machining and u got a 2.4L (please feel free to correct me anyone) but is it worth it if a strengthened 2.0L can make 240rwkw as dobz mentioned... what turbo setups are advised for this kind of power? as the little gt2510 has no chance.... i
  2. i've got some minor sandpaper scatches on my sunroof glass (dont ask) can they be polished out?
  3. what adhesive do i use to re-attach the rubber door frame seals? (the thick one that runs up the A pillar across and down the B) it looks like the tar like stuff used on the plastic behind the door trim..
  4. awesome..... soooo 1.3bar has not been a good idea for the last 10 months? heh. drive it till its broke i guess. p.s i think i will check the timing belt in the mean time.

Hi all, I know theres heaps of threads on noisy belts n stuff but i think this is a little different... the noise only happens when the idle drops to around 800-900rpm. basically it sounds like a low moan. i have checked and adjusted the tension of all the belts and CRC'd all the pulley bearings and pulled the idler bearing off, cleaned lubed and replaced. (i think thats what you call it, the lowest pulley under the power steer) still no result. i then used a long screwdriver to the ear and onto metal parts of all the units to see if i can pin point the sound a little better. that ruled out the a/c, water pump and alternator (couldnt safely do this to the power steer unit) but i could clearly hear it with the screwdriver placed at the very front of the rocker cover?? so im assuming its coming from either the harmonic balancer or somewhere behind the timing cover. anyone experience moaning sounds from these areas before?
  7. is it safe to have the entire car up on 4 stands? just so u can get all 4 wheels off at the same time..
  8. ah i forgot to add... i got bored tonite and decided to remove the plastic inner guards as i was told they'd have to do to roll the guards... anyways i noticed on both sides that there are grommet holes with wires/vac hoses/exhaust sensor wire etc.. passing thru them. do i need to refit the rear 3rd of the plastic guards? to stop water getting into places it shouldnt or is it fine to leave them off altogether?? they come in 3 pieces and are stapled together. any experiences?

V&B body repairs in osb park are gonna sort me out top guys there! was quoted $50 a corner and the dude there also said he can fit the wheels and adjust the coilover height if need be! all i have to do is get a wheel alignment done at a tyre shop. as far as paint cracking goes he said all care taken but he cant guarentee it wont happen
  10. Hi all. i need to get my guards rolled on an R32, can any one suggest someone that does this? pref osb park / balcatta area or some who does callouts. thanks!
  11. if this group buy is still on can i check the availability of the front Hduty swaybar - BNF28 and the rear XHduty swaybar - BNR26X is there a kit which includes the bushes and links aswell?
