  1. Remove the bleed valve. Wont pass. Front mount might be OK as long as its secure and doesn't protrude underneath the front bar. 2 way? Depends on the inspector. I'd add some Redline LSD additive to make it slip and thus quiet it down....
  2. Yep coilovers won't pass regency unfortunately, no matter what the height.
  3. WTF searching the glovebox. Man I feel for ya. If you guys got a lock on it, just say you don't have the key How did they know you were too low? Did they measure it? And which KFC was this?
  4. By the sounds of it you need to learn how to gun your Skyline properly?
  5. The Mafia, I thought you had a GT3076R? ("GT30R"). Anyways the GT3071R is rated at about 450hp in the 56 trim. The 0.63 housing offers the best response and would recommend that.
  6. Don't let a Skyline man touch your Silvia! Thats wrong! lol EDIT - j/k for those who took me seriously lol
  7. If the GT3071R 56 trim (GT30 based) was capable of pulling ~310rwkw on an SR22DET, then there is simply no need for a GT3082R. (ie GT3040).
  8. Usually when you disconnect the O2 sensor the engine will run rich. So yeah sound likes a leaness problem.
  9. I'd step down to the GT3076R (HKS GT3037 56 trim) or the GT3071 as mentioned. The GT3040R is a mismatch turbo and will be too laggy for your power targets.
  10. I don't think it'd be an issue of too rich as misfire normally happens when its lean. You'd be blowing black smoke and it'd still won't misfire.
  11. This thread will never die! Is Hitek Dyno Dynamics?
  12. Certainly sounds like a fueling problem. Maybe its running too lean? Whats your O2 readings when it does it? Is it still cycling or does it go lean?
  13. Time to pin up a new upcoming Dyno Day thread I say!
  14. ^^ Is that sarcasm? But yeah any direct airflow I've found results in unstable readings for the AFM due to turbulence. Ie cruising at 60kmh the voltage will be +- 50mV. Do the same at idle by raising the RPM to 2000rpm and its pretty much steady (+-10mV) EDIT - forgot to mention the above was with a CAI feed from the front with a 3" hose.
  15. Yeah sounds like the gauge is stuffed. Did your fuel light come on though?
  16. Yeah, the best oil for your buck with D1. You can't even buy Castrol's or Shells's Group III stuff for that price anymore.
  17. >120C and I'd be thinking about easing up because the oil viscosity will be thinning out. But if you are using the 5W50 then it should still be OK but still wouldn't venture over 130C under any circumstance.
  18. 105C is nothing to worry about Nuffsaid.
  19. lol usually Redline has less than stellar UOAs. Sadly.
  20. Probably because the M1 0W40 is a bit thinner and would be friction modified. Thus leading to a more smoother and peppier motor
  21. There are fanbois everywhere. There are plenty of 4 cyl turbo guys who think they will own any V8. And if not, they go into the 'Hp/L' bullshit argument. Bah that shit is so yesterday.

    Any updates on this?
  23. What Zeals do you have? I find my Zeals good for the street. Firm but not harsh.
  24. khunjeng, stay with Redline, its a good oil. Or Motul's 300V "Double Ester" formulation looks great too (mega dose of Moly!).
  25. No problem considering the water temps were around 90C on a mates GT-T from memory. What oil are you using?
