  1. White R34 has since been lowered at least another inch. My car unfortunately is at the lowest height on an old model of Tein Superstreets, I would be going lower if I could but I just can't afford it.
  2. Location? Condition? Pics?
  3. Are you sure about that? Because my friend here is running 18x9.5 +18 (7mm more than the above posted specs) with a 245/40R18 tyre. It needed a minor roll. And here I am running 17x9 +13 (6mm more than the above posted specs) with a 215/45R17 tyre. Also needed to be rolled. Neither of these examples are 'sunken'. With a 265 he will be running a nice enough stance
  4. 235's wont be exactly 'stretched' either. They'll be a little bit skinnier but won't be any crazy stretch. I think you'll be fine with a decent roll.
  5. Nardi make a nice 330mm wheel. I use one in my R32 (but it's not a GT-R). It does make the turning a little harder (I have used a 365mm Nismo) but you get used to that. They make these in Black with red stitching also, and in a dished (deep corn) variant too however the 330mm of these aren't as attractive as the 350mm deep corn.
  6. For a 9" on the rear you'll probably be wanting arount the +25 mark if you're going to be using the 235. I would roll your guards if you haven't already. For the front on 8" I think somewhere around the +20 would sit well. This rear fitment is my car with a 215/45 on a 9J +13 rim. Probably a bit excessive for your liking. The front is 205/45 on 8J +25. You can't see it very well from there but I'd like mine to stick out just a little more than they do now. Edit: Oh and I'm pretty sure the 4dr is not much different to the 2dr so offsets should still be relevant.
  7. I think the majority of the problem is the driver here in most cases of a 'slow car'.
  8. That doesn't make sense. That would equate to exactly 3mm of preload? I put 2.45mm in mine and it skips the inside wheel on full lock when parking. I've driven mine for a few weeks now and it's definitely loosened up. It's probably the best I could ask for, still good for the street but very tight and predictable.
  9. I would be inclined to stay away from Import Monster. I haven't dealt with them but they will charge you hefty amounts for commission and apparently are slow to get things sent off. Jesse Streeter is an Australian living in Japan who exports parts around the world. I have bought MANY parts from him and never had a bad word to say. His communication is always prompt, he charges minimal commission and is generally a great help for imports of any kind. [email protected] I duno about a factory one man but there are aftermarket ones out there.
  10. Hey, I got my gaskets today but was under the impression they would come with the 'half moons' aswell. Was I supposed to separately order them? You didn't provide a part number so I just assumed it came with the new ones. I have some decent gasket sealer, would you recommend using this on the existing half moon things? Thanks.
  11. I'd just use a file to get most of the paint off then finish it off with some sand paper so it's just the bare metal showing. I wouldn't bother about painting but if you wanted to, you could try buying a white 'paint marker' and carefully running over the Nissan logo with that. I've never used one though. You probably should have masked up the rubber seals too.
  12. I see... well I'm hoping it turns out nice, are the calipers going red too? I would have gone a satin/gloss black on the rotor but that's just me.
  13. I'll take your factory one off your hands if you end up finding an aftermarket one...
  14. Dude... they're the brake discs and why did you paint them lol? I would have been going a gold or red on the calipers but wouldn't have been touching the discs...
  15. Bump - I need the same answer to the question above
  16. Spotted a Gun Metal R33 with white skylinesaustralia.com sticker across back window @ Glendale shops today.
  17. if you have a Skyline with an aftermarket bodykit, or a factory one, does it get scraped often? Depends what kit like you said, and how low your shocks/springs or coilovers are. Also depends on if you give a crap or not. I'm running my coilovers at their lowest setting and want to go a lot lower. My exhaust scrapes over pretty much every speed bump and my front lip does too. It's my daily.
  18. Old ez...
  19. Won't fit R32 as the R32 sedan ones are 1 piece.
  20. About the Kumho's stretching, I didn't mean that they aren't able to be stretch as much, I just meant that they won't appear as stretched as a normal tyre, from what I have heard anyway. Option1Garage up in QLD have great deals on all of Kumho's tyres and Federal tyres. Postage to me (newcastle, nsw) was $28 for a pair or $40 for a set and came in 2 days. Excellent service. The prices of the sizes you want aren't on their website but just send them an email and they should get back to you quickly. http://www.option1garage.com.au/
  21. In my RB25DE I pulled the AFM apart and resoldered the joints and sprayed inside it, it was good for about a week and then it was never repairable (by me), so I replaced it with a very good condition (but used) one and it's been great since. Yours might be the same, just might not be repairable, because it sounds like the EXACT problem I had.
  22. Update, I actually think my rocker cover seals/gaskets are leaking, not cam seals... Anyone know how I should go about getting these parts?
