  1. What kind of Skyline are they for? R32/33/34 or various? Also, no pics as you said?
  2. KU36 is the semi slick right? As far as I know the semi's dont stretch as well as a normal road tyre so just keep that in mind. Also, your comment about the 225 looking heaps stretched but 235 looking hardly any. I believe all the different tyre manufacturers are slightly different so some brand stretch more/less than others. I would be going probably 225/45R17, unless your car is super low then I would maybe go down to the 40 profile but 45 is adequet. Oh yeah and my last two sets of tyres have been Federal SS595 and I have loved them a lot.
  3. They look real to me, the only ones seem to be getting copied are those newer models like the BRIDE GIAS etc etc. They look like BRIDE Ergo to me, decent seat. Enjoy
  4. Mine have just started leaking too and it's probably done about 80,000kms? I am only going off what the previous owner told me, as the engine was replaced at some stage. I'm thinking of getting my timing belt and cam seals done too, any idea what a mechanic would charge for this kind of labour? I was going to do it all myself but I really am not into working on engines a great deal.
  5. needs MOAR low. k.
  6. Nice use of a simile A properly set up NA Skyline (for whatever purpose) can still be more than adequate. BTW good luck finding an RB20 NEO as far as I know only the RB25 NEO's were imported here.
  7. Japanese Yahoo Auctions dude, I've seen heaps of these genuine factory options on there including the drink holders, sunroof visor, windows visors, aero parts, ski racks, gold badges and more. I have a genuine Nismo parts catalogue for the R32 models that I might post up if anyone is interested?

  9. Those aren't SSR Reverse Mesh rims.
  10. I'm gonna say yes and no. I'll try and explain this as simple as I can. I had a problem with the halfshafts in my diff, the bolts fell out and they were damaged in the accident (previous owners fault). I had to go to the task at finding some more 5 bolt half shafts. Easy I thought, I bought R33 ones and they didn't fit into my diff. I tried a mates pair of S13 ones and they didn't fit. I looked at other R32 half shafts and they looked exactly the same as S13/R33 ones too. The previous owner has put some sort of R200 diff centre into my diff that fits a wierd type of 5 bolt half shafts. Read my thread (which I got no feedback from), it has pictures of regular half shafts and my 'rare' type :S http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...80#entry5044480 Show us what your half shafts look like. -Jimmy.
  11. From about 4k rpm onwards it pulls strongly, on a twisties run (for example old pac where I'm only using 2nd and 3rd) you can utilise all the power if you shift later in 2nd gear (almost on the limiter) and still be on the peak power when you shift into 3rd. But it has it's ups and downs I guess. My bro's 34 with a 2.5" definitely is better down low.
  12. If you're going to be running a big front mount, I wouldn't be concerned by cutting a little bit of plastic from your front bar.
  13. They might look more modern, but in my opinion most modern things these days look cheap. I think the original lights preserve the older looks about them and that's why in my opinion, they shouldn't be changed.
  14. I've got a 3" HKS Catback on my RB25DE and it's not loud at all. Also got it dyno'd and reached 115rwkw. It would be ideal to go for a smaller exhaust however I'm using what came with the car but I haven't seen any major disadvantages of having 3" and it certainly pulls hard.
  15. You should also be able to fit them yourself, f**k paying hundreds for an hour or two plus experience of your own.
  16. What exactly is an R32 'Nismo bonnet'?
  17. Spotted a a Bayside Blue R34 GT-R today on the way to Sydney on the freeway around the Central Coast area.
  18. Spotted a white R35 GT-R in Sydney today ^_^
  19. Thread revival alright
  20. It cost me about $90 to get a new cable from Nissan and arrived in 2 days. It's worth getting brand new though. Mine was broken where it joins at the cluster too.
  21. Yeah my bro just got a 2.5" exhaust with high flow cat and it seems to make this rattling/virbating noise aswell... Could it maybe be the extractors?
  22. Got pics of the halfshafts? You might be thinking, "They're just halfshafts", but I need them for some research I'm doing and it'd be great if you could help me out
  23. I only have about 4-5mm clearance on the front calipers and probably 10mm clearance on rear. I saw a set of 11.5's on Yahoo JP (which is where I got my set from) Ultimately I wanna run the 9's up front and find some 10's for the rear. But as you said, finding FORMULA mesh, in 5 stud, in 17inch is f**king hard. I love my uniqueness
