I emailed 'mrgaiter' on ebay about custom design/ colour sets and the prices, will post his response here if anyone is interested. *EDIT* Ok got a reply, basically when you win the bid on ebay for one of the gaiters you then email them in regards to what colour combination and any embroided text (Nismo, GTST, GTR Skyline etc) if desired. Around $60(Aus) for basic 2 tone set with no writing or $85(Aus) for a set with text

the other way to pick out undercover cops is too look at the antenna, if its a tall one with a thick base (usually thick black rubber at the base) then watch yourself

Yea ive been noticing small things with the quality of installation since it was first installed but I have moved a fair distance away and have never gotten around to taking it back to them, paid a fair amount for all these features which dont work correctly. Will call them today and tell them whats happening, cant wait to see how much they are going to try charging me for their shoddy work...

Hey ive had an alarm system installed in the car since October of last year and have never had a problem until 2 weeks ago. Basically it is setting off for no reason a few minutes after being activated. This hasnt been a problem as i can just click the button and it wont seem to happen again for atleast 3 days. Today though it set off and wouldnt stop sounding no matter what i did (even the manual disarming), problem is the immobilizer is now stuck in the lockout setting and i cant start the car. Brand is CAM, any help is appreciated as i live a fair distance from my work and basically depend on my car :X

if you dont want to get technical then just put the lights (minus globes) in the oven on a low level, loosens the glue then just pull apart clean and reseal. Ive only heard of this working, never tried it so not sure if it will damage anything.

What kind of prices would i be looking at for a basic no-name, stainless steel, straight 3.5" catback exhaust from an exhaust shop and how much is the difference in price between name brands and no-name brands, is the markup on name brands (HKS, Trust etc) similar to markups on shoes and clothes (paying for the name)? Also is there any real performance/quality difference in the two?
