    Visiting Japan

We stayed in the Narita airport hotel when we went to Japan on a 2 day stopover in 2000. They have the fancy toilets Thats pretty much all i remember of it
  5. ^^ haha ok when i say 'ok' im really saying 'suck it' cheers for the pm loymclure, still just pricing things but will get back to you when i decide haha i want to keep it stock cejay but... temptation! I had a look at the websites for Just Jap and Nengun, read the posts, a few articles and did some research and basically im looking at: Front/Dump + Cat - $249 + $160 (JustJap) or $380 + $230 (BTMBL) HKS Hi-Power Silent - http://www.nengun.com/hks/high-power-exhaust-silent - $545 or Kakimoto Full Power N1 - http://www.nengun.com/kakimoto-racing/full-mega-n1 - $650 or Apexi N1 Evolution - http://www.nengun.com/apexi/n1-evolution-muffler - $445 or Trust Power Extreme II - http://www.nengun.com/trust-greddy/power-extreme-ii - $535 Is there much difference in quality between the parts BTMBL and JustJap are offering? Whats the legal db limit? Does the word N1 in the exhaust name really give more power? Hmm may have to postpone the exhaust for a while, listening to my messages while typing this post up, im finally being investigated for http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=139140 . Propably wont end too well as this simple equation shows. Lightpost + other car that got hit by falling light post + not 100% car was still registered + other assorted fines = PAIN!
  6. Hey just have a few questions about exhausts. Basically im looking for an exhaust system that sounds good but isnt so loud it will attract unwanted attention (P-platers in skylines are pretty targeted strangely enough ) Just wondering what brands you would recommend from experience and what kind of prices id be looking at. What kind of prices am i looking at for an entire engine to rear system. Just a decent system to remove some of the restriction caused by the stock exhaust so not looking to spend thousands . Have heard good things about the HKS Hi-Power and the Trust PE II (both sold on SAU) has anyone used or heard these exhausts? Also what items would i need to buy for the complete system, is a cat necessary/ any significant effects and what sort of material should the exhaust sections be (stainless, mild etc) Thanks

Decided about 20 mins before heading home that i should propably take some pics Hottest car in our lot, talking about the one on the left, my camera couldnt handle that much awesome so i had to settle with a third of it, the 34 is pretty decent aswell...i guess Nissan R33 Series II Dust-Spec (engine bay was disgusting, it stayed closed ) I guess its kind of wide, could be fatter though The image is titled 'Lil Jon' but the real owner was far from pimpin' Should of taken more pics, were some nice cars around. Ohwell always next year

  19. Yep Aircraft(Chopper) Tech in army was what i was going for, talked to a guy in the Woden recruiting office about it and he said it was the most challenging and the certificates at the end were the most rewarding. They are even fast tracking people applying for this job because its in such high demand... Slept so bad last night, couldnt stop thinking about it. If it was something I could work on and fix id be fine with it but like leigh said, cant do anything about it which just makes it harder. I'm still going to go for the defence force though, the navy recruiter I had my interview with went through the exact same thing as me (he's red/green colour blind aswell) so he gave me his number (*sings* "in the navy") and said he'd help me out with what options were available and which ones would interest me the most out of those. Pretty much my only option if i really want a decent job in the Defence Force is if i go for officer but most of those are just desk jobs which goes against the whole reason i decided to join DF in the first place, to get away from Public Service jobs. Bah disappointing... Im only 19 Skylvia Yea its a fail once fail forever
  20. colour blindness test: http://www.toledo-bend.com/colorblind/Ishihara.html try it, half those are just spots to me.
  21. Bloody hell this is depressing... Do the aptitude test and tech tests at my JOEs today and do well enough to be told I can apply for any trade of my choice pending results of my med test. So im sitting there for 2 hours waiting and waiting just thinking about which trade would pay the best/ be the most interesting. Walk into the nurses office and she brings out the colour testing. Fail first, fail 2nd, fail 3rd. "Yea your a CP3, your employment options include; cook, dental assistant, musician etc" Awesome... Now ive got 2 more days of no work to sit at home and think about this fact.
  22. Spotted a white S1 33 in carpark at woden and a Silver 33 GTR at the giant roundabout in civic around 5pm
  23. Have my JOEs day today Anyway im applying for Aircraft Mechanic with my next options being Structural Fitter and Fitter Turner all in the Army How long ago were you in the army and whats life in the defence force like, have heard different stories from different people about what its like.
  24. So does this mean after we get our money back you'll be organising a new paintball adventure? Because im overly keen (same with ceffie it seems ) to shoot people
  25. Spotted a S1 33 merging onto Barton HWY around 12:30pm, no wave back but he did pull off a full slick power slide, i think i even heard a chirp
