  1. There's probably glue holding on your speaker cover. Try getting a heat gun or hair dryer to melt the glue and use the screw driver to rip it out.
  2. Can you open the door from the inside? If you can, just take off all the door trims and take a look. I'm not sure about an R33, but it's pretty common for the handles to break on a VT and VX.
  3. No worries Just to put an answer to your question, does a two door rear bar fit a four door?
  4. this thread is still going!
  5. Hi and welcome to the forums. You should do a search of some sort before starting a thread. There's a thread below this one that could be of some help to you. Pretty much the same question. If you can't find it, it's this one: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=176489 Cheers
  6. Yeah? I always thought that the extra 0.5" of piping would cause more lag and throttle response. I guess it does in a way, but if you don't notice it.....

    My Evo Sold!

That's a nice looking evo you had mate. Anyway, what to get next? Why not go VIP style if you're into that thing. Get a bit of a break from performance, getting faster lap times and go for a good cruiser? If not that, get a house if you don't already have one. Depends on what you like I guess.
  8. I'm not too sure about what exhaust you should get, but if you plan on keeping the stock air box, the k&n filter should do and the cooling pro intercooler kits should do also. Just make sure you get 2.5" piping. You don't want the extra lag from 3" piping. Have fun modding

  10. That's how it's done in my car and it works fine.
  11. Some GPS systems have them. They don't detect the mobile ones though. Only the ones which lie at intersections.
  12. LOL @ thread and posts
  13. Check your local wreckers mate. They have quite a lot of stuff.
  14. Having just looked at the photo's you provided. They look like they're the same. Best to make sure by comparing side by side I think.
  15. Oh sorry mate. I was talking about the R32's. I didn't realise that you were talking about the R33's. I'm not too sure about the R33's. Best to have a look in the Four Door section for some answers.
  16. How do these cables break? Does it just wear over time or are we doing something to it to break?
  17. If are looking for some extra power, I would make the engine breathe a little easier by adding a 3 inch turbo back exhaust with a high flowing cat, I would personally keep the standard air box and just get a high flowing panel filter, but if you like the pod you can go pod. And for the intercooler, depending on how much power you're looking for, a JustJap kit should be enough. Cheap and good enough quality from what I've heard. Raise the boost to about 12psi and also get a new fuel pump to support. I think that should be enough for now.
  18. The sedan and coupe rear bars are different. The coupe's rear lights round off at the bottom where as a sedans lights are more of a 'boxy' shape. Not sure if that made any sense, but if you got a sedan rear bar and a coupe rear bar together, look at the bar where it would meet the tail lights. You should see the difference. Size, I'm not too sure about the difference. As far as I know, the series 1 and 2 front are interchangeable. Only difference in the light is that, one has projector headlights and one has the 'normal' reflectors?
  19. Not sure if all 32 headlights have it or not, but on the GTR's, there should be brackets for the grille to be connected to?
  20. The new Falcon looks alright. When I first saw it, I thought VE, but I guess I wouldn't mind one.
  21. In my R32, the heater didn't work because the motor which controls hot/cold air wasn't working. The heater worked, but it blew more cold than hot air. The ticking noise you're hearing could be worn out gears in the motor that control your hot/cold air. I think the only way of fixing this was to rip out the entire dash which would take about 6 hours! Hope you get it all working soon. It's bloody cold this time of year.
  22. I was doing something similar to this in my brothers car and it didnt seem to work all that well. I think what happened was, when we were putting water into the radiator, the water was too cold for the thermostat to open so no water came out from the top hose. Instead of water coming out of the top hose, it was coming out of where the water was entering. Hope that helped a bit and made some sense.
  23. Hope all the problems are fixed mate. Any pictures of your car?
  24. It looks so similar to the VE. I wouldn't be surprised if the photos where photoshopped from a VE. They've got pretty much the same shape and lines. I wouldn't mind the white one.
